Dam-Funk Thread

Post by BlingRhames »

This dude is ill, but for some reason it's hard to find DL's of his stuff.

So this is a thread for Dam-Funk joints to be posted in.

Anyone got 'toeachizown' etc?

stones throw kills his links with incredible quickness, it's uncanny. they don't stay up for more than 10 minutes at a time.

i would recommend torrent over trying to find direct dl's

yeah, I couldn't even find torrents. They're fast, but it's kinda counterproductive since I would definitely have checked out a couple of his recent shows if I was more familiar with his material.

I ended up copping on itunes, so my mp3's won't help.

Does anyone have the rhythm tracks 4 record?

I was really impressed when i watched this interview ... what an incredibly humble, soft-spoken man and yet so serious about what he is doing. The way he speaks about THE FUNK, it's like a metaphysical thing. And you can hear it in his music too, there's none of that semi-ironic 80s bs ... this is some deep shit.

i don't know man, i couldn't figure it out either

thanks in advance for the words in small print btw

small suggestion for uploading things in this thread if anybody wants to up his other albums... i would strongly recommend renaming the zip to something completely arbitrary unrelated to the actual title, do not put the words dam-funk anywhere in the description on the hosting site, and maybe don't even post the actual name of the album in here - just a pic of the cover or a link to discogs
