he was doing this last summer at festivals as well. I remember it being a super boring set.

apparently the outer shell of the golf ball was supposed to have some projection shit going on, but that doesn't work too well at 7 in the evening so my dude was just playing his super boring set from the inside of a plain old titleist

Mike G is stealing the odd future show. A shocking development.

Was just there on Sunday and it was brutally hot. Made it really hard to enjoy everything. Realized as much as I enjoy most of Odd Future's music, I'm too old for their live show. It finally started to cool down and I got to see a great show by Deerhunter before I had to cut out early for an early wake up the next day. Enjoyed Kurt Vile's set too, but I'd much rather see him at a smaller venue.

yeah, I only got into Deerhunter a year ago and had never seen them live. If it wasn't for the shorter Pitchfork sets, it might have ranked among my all time favorite shows. Still they played the longest set I saw, and packed plenty of music into 50 minutes. They played everything I wanted to hear including an incredible version of Nothing Ever Happened. Save Built To Spill, I think Deerhunter has become my favorite band in the world.

lol, why? because it was too hot?

i was there on Sunday only...brutally hot yes, but Deerhunter and TV on the Radio made up for everything (TV on the Radio played "Waiting Room"...just a fuckin great live band, and by then the sun was down).

I also split time between Superchunk (good) and Kylesa (great). Disapointed I had to split from Kylesa early to catch Deerhunter, but i've seen them before (this performance was better).

Odd Future, funny/entertaining show, but i relate with the guy who said he feels too old to enjoy their shenanigans now. props to Tyler for bringing it all in a leg cast.

Kurt Vile was cool but that was during the peak of the heat...eh, nothing else sticks out except Cut Copy.
