not sure if it's appropriate to post this in this thread..
but it certainly fits more than any other current thread in rick rubin
saw jimmy edgar play live last night.. and god damn. dude is a fucking beast!
i wasn't too familiar with his music beforehand.. but i definitely think a lot of fans of dam-funk would like him. he produces and sings.. and his beats are somewhere in between funk/80s/electro/glitch/wonky. i haven't heard his album on warp.. but his live show is highly recommended
