Think Dick Dale jamming with the Skatalites with Morricone at the helm, including appearances from Alessandro Alessandroni (the original spaghetti western whistler) and you're in the right section at the record store, although it is possibly a very small section.

Sorry for the delayed response, this mix is majestic man! I've been bumping it this whole week straight. Do me a favor, whenever you're spinning this music around the nyc area, let me know.

Real shit man I appreciate that. Glad your enjoying it. I don't spin reggae though, this is just a lil thing I do to relax and give back to the music that I love and share it with others. And feedback like that makes it all worth it. So thanks again.
גSilverhawkג on the dubplate tip rocking strictly NINJAMAN & SHABBA RANKSג¦..This is not that happy go lucky dancehall shit ג this is that certified rudeboy flamethrower special flying at your grillג¦..
Put on your best screwface and prepare for more pressure !!!
Prince Language shares a personal mix born out of the tragic events of 9/11. One of the victims of Tower 1 of the WTC was his friend, the artist Michael Richards, and in honor of his memory this uplifting collection of vintage reggae was played at the memorial service in Harlem 11 years ago this month.
A wonderfull stripped down,relaxing, spiritual masterpiece that consists of "acoustic" reworkings of the late reggae legend Bim Sherman's songs.
Recorded with help of a.o. Adrian Sherwood, Doug Wimbish and Skip McDonald (Sugar Hill Records, Tackhead and then some) and a full Indian classical orchestra in Bombay, (including Talvin Singh playing the tabla)....
A lot of clashes, in my experience, aren't worth listening to after the fact. But both these crews are legendary. Can you summarize some of what goes down, and tell why it's worth checking out? Thanks in advance.
PEACE

@peanut butter:
I agree with you, yet I love hearing all those special dubs and Supersonic have plates that diss Mighty Crown, especially recorded for the occasion, which was new to me!
So I don't know if this appeals to u, dunno know if I will play it a lot myself, but its enjoyable to listen at least once, if you're into soundclash culture
so you be the judge of that..

I'm going to see Stephen Marley live tomorrow night with my girl and made this Best Of mix for her to get familiar. Its pretty basic in terms of being mostly album cuts, and there isn't a large selection of those because he only has two solo albums, but enjoy it for what its worth.
