i got the same error from the cowards as i did in the classical thread.
ill try to DL again since ive already deleted, but in the future you right click a folder with the album as mp3s, .rar or .zip it up and upload that as one file.

EDIT: individual tracks will DL, but folder gives me errors

JPT Scare Band - RumDum Daddy

Image

Image

About the band:
Take a solid, Cream-based blues outfit, mix in the wildest, most psychedelic moments of Hendrix feedback, throw in loads of distortion and a grocery bag full of LSD and the final result will be something like the proto-metal/psych jamming of these guys.
About the album:
The material on RumDum Daddy was recorded in 2004, and though relatively straightforward numbers like ג€œYou Donג€™t Wanna Knowג€ and ג€œRat Poison for the Soulג€ (as opposed to chicken soup, one imagines) do an excellent job of leading into the album, itג€™s the jams, man. The jams. And Iג€™m not talking about, ג€œHey, letג€™s all head out to The ג€˜Roo and catch Disco Biscuitsג€ jams. Fuck those jams. JPT Scare Band traffic in epic guitar-led passages that would scare off trust-fund hippies faster than you can say, ג€œThereג€™s ham in the vegan pad thai.ג€

ג€œIntro/E Minor Exploration/Theme from the Monsterג€™s Holiday,ג€ ג€œIג€™ve Been Waiting,ג€ ג€œBit of A Minor Jam,ג€ ג€œBookends Jam,ג€ and even the chorus-friendly title track that precedes them, come on loud and spontaneous. Theyג€™re more than just builds and occasional payoffs, and the word ג€œexplorationג€ is not gratuitously used. 36 years since Swope, bassist/vocalist Paul Grigsby and drummer Jeff Littrell started playing together, and theyג€™re still finding new places to go with their music. Even if you donג€™t like heavy guitar psych rock, you have to respect what JPT Scare Band are doing on RumDum Daddy.

And you can pretty well bet that, had JPT Scare Band taken over the world in 1973-75, they wouldnג€™t be doing what they are now. Listening to RumDum Daddy, that sounds like a fair trade. Fame, money, women and drugs are fleeting. Not sucking lasts forever.

Check samples to see if you dig it. Wait for the guitar solos. If you are gonna only check one then I suggest the title track or "I've Been Waiting".

Near legendary among proto-metal historians, to understand this band and their music you've got to step back. Way back. In fact the title of their CD Past is Prologue gives us a pretty good indication where this bunch of psych-blues/metallers were coming from."

"If you like it loud, then this is for you. If you like it heavy, this is for you... a crushing power trio sound that modern day stoners are going crazy for."
