Worldwide Smash

Post by dstill808 »

I've been doing a weekly radio show covering a lot of the same music we're talking about here. The guest line-up for the next month is pretty great, and a bunch of new shit coming in from artists and labels. It streams like at 10:00 PM EST, and the archives are available too. Listen in for some bass.

March 11th: $.99 Dreams (download "brkj" for a taste)
March 18th: Machinedrum (LuckyMe, Normrex, Ghostly)
March 25th: Mux Mool (Ghostly)
April 1st: Alex Incyde (Dub War)
April 8th: soon to be announced stalwart of the LA beats community

Worldwide Smash Thursdays 10:00 PM - Midnight EST on East Village Radio
Image

Definitely playing "Repercussions of a Razorblade" this week, as well as new Starkey, EPROM, Gonjasufi, All City, Poirier, etc. etc. Noise!

yeah "tron" is alright but a bit generic. has been really really over-rinsed as well. as far as his new slightly more wobbly stuff goes, i'm more into "my trance girl":

really fascinating mini-doc on the state of LDN pirate radio:

will check the vid now..
london pirate radio is one thing the uk has that doesn't really exist anywhere else. the internet & podcasts are obviously moving things in a different direction now.. but i only wish a similar platform existed in north america

and on the subject of pirates.. what happened with rinse's fm application?????
