^ you need to do this every month dude, since you follow the scene a lot more than most people here, I'm sick of wading through horrible blog posts and downloading every single someone tweets to see if anything is good, and your taste is very on point NH.

Wiley's putting out a shit ton (10 zip files worth) of unreleased tracks today to celebrate him leaving yet another label and dumping/threatening to kill yet another manager... will put the re-ups here as i find them, the OG links are dying as soon as he puts them up:

zip 1
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E45AIX6S
(includes most of "the elusive" album which was meant to come out in september - intro & art of grime are sick)

saw HudMo live last night, he was pretty great. Played nothing but really hard shit the whole set.

Rustie played next but it was 4:30 in the morning at that point and I had to go get sleep.

the festival fucked up their timeslots and everyone who wanted to see gaslamp and gonjasufi missed them because they played an hour and a half earlier that it was stated.

dj shadow sucked dick.

off the top of my head:

Roska - I need love

Dubbel Dutch - Throwback

both a few months old though
IMHO, there is no lyricist now or before that can match the lyrical dexterity of Qwel.

And NastyNasty needs to come down and perform in LA, cat is disgustingly dope. Pretty much everything on label Frite Nite is killing it.

Check out this banger

Loops Haunt - Huarache (NastyNasty Remix):

:wtf:

amazing Swamp 81 showcase on Benji B's show last night. features 15 minute mixes from Loefah & Instra:mental, previews of the next few Swamp releases (pinch, instra:mental, addison groove, falty dl and bodika) and a long long interview with uncle loefah.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00tbcfd

download here: http://www.qrip.org/2010/08/09/soulful- ... st-loefah/

found it pretty inspiring/exciting listening as someone who has been really wondering why i still listen to this shit in 2010.

Came here to post this. I'm really glad to see Loefah taking the label in this direction, instead of just keeping on releasing the halfstep stuff. At the moment Swamp81 is one of the most exciting things about the music.

I somehow missed the Ramadanman release, but "Work Them" has been on repeat after listening to the show

James Blake started singing yo

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mSTwL9YS3AI&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mSTwL9YS3AI&hl=en_GB&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

:lastweek: maybe.

Make sure to listen to this in something other than computer speakers though, because of the bass. The song's nice enough and dude is definitely talented, but i'd still prefer hearing more of his instrumental stuff.
