The-Dream and his Trilogy in the Place of History

Post by Snuggles the DESTROYER »

Yamaha - Nikki Pt. 2 - Abyss.

Where does it rank historically?

Better than Lord of the Rings but lacking the chutzpah of the Samurai Trilogy? Certainly above the Kevin McCalister Chronicles or Redman's Sooperman Luva.

Who will portray The-Dream in its inevitable movie adaptation?

Has music peeked with his approximate 12 minute saga?

Best Rick Rubin thread ever, imo.

A blacked up Eric Bana should play Terius.

 @ thread.

I love the Dream and am really gay for the Samurai Trilogy. Still don't think Love King is as good as Love Vs. Money though.

love this but the video was disappointing
IMHO, there is no lyricist now or before that can match the lyrical dexterity of Qwel.

Up.

Still legit point. This trio ages better than any. I'm ready for the Ken Burns documentary. Line by line.

"Get the clutch, the brake, get this motherfucker running/ Me and you, together, girl, they never seen it coming"

"You fuckin' with, you fuckin' with, you fuckin' with my house/ Me and my new girl was cool, but now I'm having doubts."

"So now cry 'till you drown your face/ And bitch I give a damn how harsh this may seem"

Burn down all your R&B heroes in the face of The Dream's masterpiece.

I will re-up this annually until the internet ends. Granted--in this case--it was five posts from the top. However, you don't leave flowers on a grave for the attention but because it's the right thing to do.
