Diplo has tapped Taiwanese production house NMA to create the video for his single, ג€œU Donג€™t Like Meג€ featuring ubiquitous media personality and rapper Lil Jon. NMA, who was responsible for the animated news reenactments of the Tiger Woods fiasco and other public debacles put together an appropriately out-there clip that neatly summarizes the spastic vibe of the song. The unlikely collaboration takes shape visually in a myriad of different settings, the two producers facing off in a gun battle, break dance fighting, racing cars and under-water final round. Even the animated dancing baby makes a rare cameo appearance!

Saw diplo dj yeterday at this party Heineken was throwing. I just caught the last 20 mins or so of his set but it was pretty bad. I think he decided the crowd sucked plus it was only like 5pm so he started playing unremixed pdiddy beats and shit.

Nas, cee lo, and jcole all also performed but the speakers were blown by the time nas got on. Free heinekens and food tho.

vbs.tv - The Producers: Episode three turns the spotlight onto Diplo : one of the worldג€™s most sought after producers (with the likes of M.I.A and Snoop Dogg on his CV) finally meets his hero Lee Scratch Perry for the first time, culminating in the improvised collaboration between the two at Notting Hill Carnival.

I started this mix for them like a year ago but it took derek about 6 months to send stems so it was kinda in remix limbo but i really wanted to get it out to u guys cause i think the bass and the drums sounds nice and u can play it at your next party.

So the Riddimentary thing is pretty good. Its title explains it all. The album is a Riddim 101 course for his fans who didn't know anything more about reggae than Bob Marley and Shaggy until hearing this. That's not a bad thing tho. It's a pretty wise selection of classics. I just wish he'd done something more. He played it straight the whole way through which I found to be underwhelming. It's only 45 minutes long tho. So its a nice quick listen.

PEACE
