Underrated - Overrated - Properly rated

I was listening to the band cinderella and i was trying to figure out of they were overrated, underrated or properly rated. What do you say we play a game by the same name.

Rules:
Put out a name of a band or artist, others vote for them, and when they vote they need to put in a new band

Ill start with Cinderella

Im going with underrated. Night Songs was a good album.

I like this thread concept.

Unfortunately I have not listened to enough Cinderella comment on that band.

The Black Keys

(I chose them because I saw someone say how "bad" they were in the Blackroc 2 thread and it's the first time I'd heard anyone hate on them)

I would say Properly Rated. Ive enjoyed most of their albums and I think their rise to fame has been earned.

i would go overrated, i never really liked them. they reminded me of a poor man's john spencers blues explosion. which i also didnt like...but i like cinderella, so i might not be the best judge.

black keys are crazy overrated. i don't think they're bad.. but they're insanely popular & there's a lot of other bands out there that deserve their shine

i think joy division is properly rated btw. they get a lot of praise.. but deserve it
i just wonder if others think they're overrated

The Black Keys - properly rated. I wasn't always the biggest fan of their albums, but they're absolutely phenomenal live.

The Strokes - underrated

Joy Division - i am not familiar enough with their work to know how they are rated.

strokes - i would say this is it is underrated, dont know about the rest of their work since it seems like just sequels to this is it.

Radiohead - im going wildly overrated.

Perhaps Im just being nostalgic though. Anyway "Properly Rated" in my book.

it's just the fact that their fanbase is so annoying that creates the illusion of them being overrated. agree with afronaut on the best part of their career.

i agree. Time is one of the best songs of that or any era.

The Who- ever so slightly overrated. They're more important than good to me. There's a lot of incredible Who singles I put on playlists, but I don't love any of their albums. Who's Next is great, but I rarely listen to it as an album.
