Love me some Mastodon. Definitely picking this up.

single is kind of half-assed, but i still think the album will be good.

Hate to say it, but I'm not impressed by anything I've heard from this album. :/

You guys didn't like The Hunter?
I'm digging all of it. Dude's are getting old and doing what they feel like instead of trying to stay heavy or whatever.
The songs sound dope to me. Getting a classic Ozzy vibe a lot.

I listened to the full album.
They are definitely in their No Prayer for the Dying/Fear of the Dark phase (meaning, passed their peak) but it's still got some jams.

So far, I'm loving it. It's like a more refined "The Hunter", which is a great album. This is hard to compare to "Leviathan" and "Blood Mountain", because they've basically morphed into a completely different band.
