New Aphex Twin album - 'Syro'

Anyone interested to see what Richard has been up to? His last release was (probably) the two Tuss Eps in 2007. The last release that was identifiably by him was the Analord series back in 2005.

Whenever one of the most celebrated and influential electronic fartist, Richard D. James can compete with the music flip to influence built. The better part of a decagon, James Polygon Window, Caustic Window, GAK and maintain, including `Aphex Twin has unreleased music under several thousand monikers great pace.

Think he can create anything as interesting as his early work, or will it just sound outdated?

by uploading old live performances of unreleased tracks, that ended up getting tagged by YouTube's copyright system.

He doesn't really do many of them though. Although I did pay £25 to watch him swing a piano from a ceiling for 30 minutes 2 years ago.

But yeah, he must have sold a hell of a lot of records. His discography is insane.

the palette of sound is immaculate but most of the rhythms feel kinda dated

Goddamn, this is album of the year.

This is like the best parts of the Tuss and Analord combined, and the rhythms feel exactly like they have with most of RDJ's stuff - in a world of their own.

There's currently 59 tracks totalling over 4 and a half hours of music, dated from around 1989 through to the mid 90's. Some of it is genuine demos/ experiments/ throwaways, but there's also some absolute gold.

Get on to it fast, he'll probably delete them at some stage.
