Really like the new album. I love Before Today but didn't care much for Mature Themes, this one seems to combine the best qualities of both

Yep, had it a week or so, it's out there. Re listening right now, just a fantastic record, Not Enough Violence is a favorite. Plastic Raincoats In The Pig Parade is another sweet little trip and Sexual Athletics is the best thing ever.

i'm jumping the gun trying to talk about this after one and some listens but i'm pretty excited about how good this is

Naw, it's that good though. I was disappointed by Mature Themes, but have friends who love it and I grew to like it, I appreciate Mature Themes more than like it. But he pulls it all together on this one, so many varied great traditional song blips seamlessly twisted to fit his distorted perspectives. He does it so confidently that silly shit seems weighty. I hoped this album would be great, but it really surpassed all my expectations. Definitely an AOTY contender for me.
