Anyone listen to the new album 'I love you, Honeybear' yet?

It's been dominating my life for the past week, so fuckin good. Pretty much a lock for one of the best albums of the year (i know it's early). Much better than Fear Fun IMO, although maybe less 'twangy'.

Shit, I've been waiting for this. Didn't know it was out. Fear Fun is a favorite of mine, so that's high praise.

I've only listened a couple times (waiting to cop the vinyl before listening more) but I felt the 2nd half was a lot stronger than the 1st half, the last 4 songs especially. That's all just on first impression, but it'd be tough to top Fear Fun regardless.

The Bored in the USA and Holy Shit combo is fantastic. Ideal Husband and The Night Josh Tillman Came to Our Apartment are my current jams. I feel like the whole album is strong though. A lot of the album really didn't grab me on first listen, but I feel like it opens up a lot on repeated listens (both sonically and lyrically).

Oh shit, you still post here? Good to see you around.

Totally different than the Tillman stuff, but it's great.
