I got a couple good ones so far. looking to expand on my Soundtracks on Vinyl collection.
Id like to get a list going of essential soundtracks on vinyl. So far, this is what I got...
The 80's synth soundtracks are right up my alley. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you checked out Death Waltz Records?
Halloween II - John Carpenter & Alan Howarth
Halloween III: Season of the Witch - John Carpenter & Alan Howarth
Escape from New York - John Carpenter & Alan Howarth
Sorcerer - Tangerine Dream
Thief - Tangerine Dream
American Gigolo - Giorgio Moroder (if you can find it cheap)
Midnight Express - Giorgio Moroder
The Boogeyman - Tim Krog
Buio Omega - Goblin
Tenebre – Simonetti-Morante-Pignatelli
The Terminator - Brad Fiedel
Phantasm - Fred Myrow & Malcolm Seagrave
Day of the Dead - John Harrison
Been listening to this a lot lately, along with a bunch of more recent soundtracks:
Dream Window from the Fright Night OST is his masterpiece, imo

All John Carpenter is of course essential. His recent album, Lost Themes, is also pretty cool though it's not technically a soundtrack.
The Jupiter Menace OST by Synergy is great.

Good one! I've been listening to OST's a lot lately and these stuck with me:
Angelo Badalamenti - Blue Velvet (found that one on vinyl )
Clint Mansell - Moon/Requiem for a Dream
John Carpenter - They Live/The Prince of Darkness
Daft Punk - Tron
The Necks - Music from 'The Boys'
Trevor Jones - Angel Heart OST
Steve Parsons & Babel - Howling II
AIR - Virgin Suicides
Naked Lunch OST
The Boogey Man's great --> thanks for that.

I have that Surf Nazis LP. Didn't get the blood-in-the-water pressing, though. :(

We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records has some good obscure ones:
La France Interdite (French mondo, heavy on the synths)
Le Reserviste (Deadly Prey/Commando/First Blood type short, also heavy on the synths)
Tra Scienza e Fantascienza by Italian soundtrack legend Piero Umiliani, not a soundtrack but sounds like one (heavy on...the synths)
And most importantly they're dropping the Pieces soundtrack next month.
