The mother of all polls. I expect the majority to go with the British Invasion, but it would be nice to see a diverse outcome.

Rolling Stones.

The Beatles will win, and I will once again curse their vapid souls.

Black Sabbath - huge amount of classic albums, and most of the non-hip hop music I listen to these days originates pretty much directly from them.

I'm voting CCR if they get added. If not, someone else. Pavement should be on this list too...Sonic Youth as well.

Shuttup you whiner. You're worse than Mickey in Swingers. Unravel those nuts you have and just pick from one of the 83 groups listed.

You still can do it. Why not by years? 70's, 80's, 90's?

Fuck Miller and Allman Bros. I put that in there for whining fags who wanna be different but don't truly vote on what they feel.

Would you really vote Creedence Clearwater over any of those bands on that list?

I'd vote for them over half those bands on that list. "Fortunate Son," "Bad Moon Rising," and "Willie and Poor Boys / Down on the Corner" are all
classic songs.

I'd vote Pavement if they were in there, just cause they're my personal favorite (3 classic albums, one of the most literate lyricists of all time), but I voted for Zeppelin.

Allman bros are better than most bands on that list, they invented the fucking dueling guitar solos. Duane Allman perfected the slide guitar, Rolling Stone named him #2 american guitarist behind Jimmy. I'm not even gonna start with his contributions to Derek and the Dominoes (ahem... Layla anyone?)

you realize the Stones were all upper middle class kids playing badass, the 60's equivalent of wiggers, right?
Also, they were officially the first band to sell out, to a make up company non the less

This is a fucking hip hop site.

If the Wu Tang Clan or P.E. or ATCQ or a rap group isn't your pick then you're a faggot, you're a white piece of shit who isn't down and doesn't belong and furthermore your opinions on rap and hip hop are null and void.

I try to avoid this forum because the musical roots of a lot of posters here are an embarassment and say a lot white lily-white lives you led as kids.

Punk faggots.
