I'm attempting to do this with CYE, since there a billion genres thrown together in this forum. Unlike the infamous "Pick your" in M2C, I don't expect these to be easy since many of you will despise some of these selections.
Hopefully after a few of these a CYE mod can take over and run with the idea. For now, these are what I came up with randomly.
Please pick your favorite track from the list.

Def. going with Nirvana.
Buddy Holly is annoying as fuck.
Smashing Pumpkins have about 5-6 songs on Siamese Dream better than "Today." That albums classic, despite the indie snob haters who treat Kevin Shields like he's J.D. Salinger.

I picked "Lithium" over "Creep" as well. I had to listen to both to decide.

I thought about adding Neil Diamond "America" to the list, but I figured I'll save the goodies for round 2.

Why are people voting Buddy Holly? That song is corny as fuck. I could maybe see if you dress in khakis and v-neck sweaters, own a Honda Element, and enjoy taking Sunny D out to your 4 kids on a Spongebob lunch tray, but come on now....
As far as songs on the Blue Album go, "Say it Ain't So" >>>>>>>>>>>> "Buddy Holly."

I agree with Icesickle on something. I don't know if I'd go as far as calling Buddy Holly corny as fuck though.

is lithium the song that goes:
"he's the one, he likes all our pretty songs, and he likes to sing along, and he likes to shoot his guns, but he knows not what it means"?
if so i want to vote for that one.

I picked it the second time. I like a bunch of these songs, but it was at the top and got my vote. For some odd reason, I appreciate Live.
