Songs that are all chorus.

Post by Smooth Lou »

Talking about "One Thing" by Amerie and that John Legend song (many of his songs actually) has me thinking of all the songs out that are like, 90% chorus, a bridge, and maybe a little hint of a verse.

I don't dislike these songs, it's just that I can't listen to them as much because for the most part, listening to them once is like listening to a normal song 20 times.

Please let us discuss this strange (and very often used) phenomenon.

Love,

Smooth Lou

That one Lit song that was popular a few years back.

Shit used to drive me insane. I was always like "do people even care they're not getting a verse out of this bullshit"

:naswtf: There's way more to that song than just a chorus.

That Nine Inch Nails song "The Hand that Feeds" seems like it was all chorus and annoyed the shit out of me.

Man, I love songs like this. It always feels like too much, and more often than not, that's exactly what I want. Feels like going to church. God damn, time to make a mix CD of songs like that. Thanks for the reminder.
