IMHO, there is no lyricist now or before that can match the lyrical dexterity of Qwel.

gonna raid those last two links
I've pulled a lot of great stuff from this blog in the past, and it is updated every day which is cool
http://floodlitfootprint.blogcu.com/
the downloading format is sort of weird though, most of the time it will be one link which is a .txt file that gives you a link for half the album, which after you download will give you the link for the other half

Anything from Indie to Black Metal, but this sticks to the heavier or arty end, usually. Whole Boris and Pink Floyd discographies as well as Belle And Sebastian.

mostly has new albums in the indie genre.
good variety with some old gems mixed in.
the only thing is some of the links don't stay up for long... whoever runs it is a real stickler about not abusing the downloading of albums before the release date.

Good source of sludge, metal, indie stuff. I suggest downloading all the Akimbo and Neurosis now. Good source of complete discographies.
