This is a brand new blog I just made yesterday called Eclectricity.
One who listens to a broad variety of music is said to be eclectic in their tastes, and I just merged it with electricity to make it sound catchy.
Every music genre will be here, and there is a megauplaod box where you can upload and the files will go straight into my file deposit where I can then post them on the blog.

http://eclecticricity.blogspot.com

That is the correct link.

Shameless plug for my blog:

http://oscillationsmusic.blogspot.com/

I upload mostly hardcore, punk, indie rock stuff but I don't really cater to one particular genre. My only criteria is that the music be great.

Gotta love a blog that serves no purpose other than to bring back albums that the world will always need.

I realize I hadn't been DL'in much, if anything lately, but I'm having some memory problems I'm fixing.
there was some wild shit on there I was itching to get at.

I decided to post exclusively here: http://kingofkingsmusic.blogspot.com/

The reason why I removed the readers is because I was going to delete the whole thing, but rem6775 convinced me that I should keep it around in case we ever needed to use it. I would have added everyone back, but I don't remember any of your email addresses.

search for blaxploitation in CYE, it'll give you a thread where i linked a blog that has full blaxploitation movie and ost downloads

then go to the funk/soul/jazz thread in TROY that has a bunch of albums posted and links to various related blogs and resourses

I like Funky16Corners, Flea Market Funk and Get Down with The Stepfather Of Soul, those are my most frequented because they give good writeups about the artists and mixes for download. O-Dub of soul-sides.com is another, he doens't do strictly Soul though, it's a mix of diff. genres.

I think it takes a certain level of record and artist knowledge in general to really get what you want out of finding good blogs, even if you're using the best internet search applications. I already had a sense of breaks and samples before the internet from record conventions, my family, FM radio and physical digging which applied to searching online today. I think it's always good to see what you can take from your general music knowledge towards your digital search. Learning about music from radio or DJ mixes seems like one of the fastest and most fun ways to build a list of stuff to search for.
