I love old school Earl Scruggsish bluegrass. Bonnie and Clyde chase music hell yeah. I could be in the worst mood then hear that ultra fast banjo picking and I can't help but smile.
Please make recommendations, uploads, Bela vs. Scruggs (Discuss), etc. I will upload the essential Foggy Mountain Breakdown by Flatt and Scruggs. And I'll also upload an album by my wife's uncle. Just saw them last night. Good time. Here's their myspace

i can appreciate some bluegrass. lived in asheville, nc for a while and that shit makes sense when you live down in appalachia. i had some friends down there that could rip.
bela is a monster, but i prefer some raw, traditional shit.
cas, you ever hear old and in the way? i always thought that was jerry garcia's best music. him on banjo, struggling to keep up with dave grisman, peter rowan, and the legendary vassar clements on fiddle.
check out the del mccoury band. if you like flat picking, check out this dude larry keel out of asheville. get all of the doc watson you can. can't think of anything else right now.
