Heard this in a Chipotle yesterday and have had a hell of a time finding it in mp3 form anywhere online.

Figured this was as good a place to try as any.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Now that he's done songs with Pusha T, is Popcaan's popularity finally approaching a critical mass? Doesn't matter, I'm gonna post a few songs of his anyway. Curious to know what the :phila: thinks of this shit.

https://soundcloud.com/theheatwave/five-million-rewinds
Jack it up selector! The Heatwave cram the biggest UK hits to come out of Jamaica into one crazy mix: 50 years + 83 tunes x 73 minutes = approximately five million rewinds. These songs have been pulled up, wheeled, rewound and replayed literally MILLIONS of times - in bedrooms, house parties, blues dances, nightclubs and raves throughout the UK.

To celebrate 50 years of Jamaican independence, The Heatwave’s quickfire insanity-inducing DJ style is applied to half a century's worth of classic tracks. 50 years of Jamaican sounds hyping UK ravers. How many times will you rewind this mix?

Great songs, buckets of soul, group harmonies combined with the growth of the Jamaican (music) industry, with an endless stream of great 45s as a result. This 1980 compilation gives a thorough overview of some of the bigger hits of the era… with strict quality control, since this is one of the first releases masterminded by the legendary Steve Barrow.

this would probably fit better into a electronic/dubstep thread, but I didn't find one.
I've been searching for good reggae/dub/roots influenced dubstep for like forever and recently have found results.

Crushing soundclash dubplate mixtape by Daddy Spleece of Reality Sound from Santa Cruz, Ca. Really impressive lineup, and filthy plates cut from nearly 20 years of collecting.

Kya Bamba, one of my favorite sound systems, released a great mixtape recently too. All pretty new selections, great dub plates, and a fantastic lineup of artists. It's available on bandcamp and you can name your own price, so by all means, go and DL this shit for free.
