One of my favorite bands back in high school and I still consider the albums below classics. In Your Face and Reality of My Surroundings are good too, but these are the two I dig the most.
Saw them and 2 Live Crew at the Palladium (RIP) during the 91 New Music Seminar (RIP). Really sick show that included Angelo crowd surfing to the back of the audience, climbing up onto the balcony railing and dropping a Christ Air down into the crowd.
Don't think the 'Bone ever really recovered from getting left in the dust when the Chili Peppers blew up. Many years of lineup changes, wack albums, band members lost to cults and festering bitterness have left these guys in sad shape. Saw Angelo at the Coach & Horses on Sunset a few years back and it was not a pretty picture.
