inspired by the recent chino thread...

Chino is one of the nicest underground mc's no question..and one of the only ones doing this style I fuck with at all....crazy talent and when he is at his best he is an animal...what sets him apart from a lot of rappers with a similar style if not content is the anger he spits with......this cat is really bringing it..!!...not just rhymin...its that energy that I miss from a lot of todays hip hop...

he has some concept tracks too of course...just wish he would drop another album as good as his debut...his career doesnt seem to be going anywhere at all and we havent heard from money in a minute...

I think that I might have it. I've got the first six volumes of the "Wake Up Show Freestyles". Is it on one of those? I can't remember.

I used to do a shitload of tape trading back in the late 90s, so I have a gang of dope Chino XL freestyles that I'd like to convert to disc. All of the Wake Up Show, Stretch & Bobbito, and Bahamadia shit has surfaced, but there's so much more (lots of bay area underground radio show appearances, etc). The guy really went out of his way to promote himself.

I'll try to fill in a few gaps here and there. I got that exact same bootleg that you initially posted, minus the last couple of tracks. I think it's the same; the first 8 tracks are in the exact same order IIRC.

I tracked down all of his records besides "Purple Hands In The Air". It seemed like it would always clear $30 on ebay.

or if anyone else has it..I dunno what it is labelled as online to search for it

very true mayne....i got lucky and found dubs for 4$, but i was about to cave in one day....i saw that shit on Ebay for like 60 i think thats the highest i have seen it. That and thousands/freestyle rhymes wee like the most hard to find ones.

If someone can upload just the "Riot" track i'll upload the rest of the album. Some bastard made the Riot mp3 I have so you can't edit the id3 tags, which means the song just sits there at the start or end of the album, instead of in it's proper track sequence. It pisses me off.
