Doom, and this is one of the few Doom joints that I like but it's serious.

JJ+FP were begining to fall off something serious here at this point in time IMO.

Why can't 'Doom make songs like "Rhymes Like Dimes" anymore? The only post-"Operation Doomsday" song that's anywhere near as good as anything off that LP is "Mic Line", his solo track from the otherwise pretty cack Monsta Island Czars album.

"Summertime" is maybe the best pop-rap of the entire 90s but i gotta go with 'Doom here. I just do.

"Only in America could you find a way to make a healthy buck
And still keep your attitude on self-destruct"

Maybe DOOMs best ever track. Wins hands down for me, can't see it progressing here though, which is a shame.

I disagree.

This one will make a comeback before it is all said and done, or so I believe.

"Doomsday" > "Rhymes Like Dimes" and JBL, you don't know what the fuck your talking about. You might not like Madvillian, but MM Food has some ill shit, specifically "Vomitspit."

Voted "Summertime." Certified classic.

Summertime... I'm surprised this is even close. I mean I love me some DOOM too, but come on people.

No way was anything off "Mmm Food" better than "Mic Line" or anywhere near as good as anything from "Operation Doomsday".

Thats not fair now. Summertime is way too classic and alot of songs will nto be able to beat it out. Will Smith's flow was flawless and the beat was ill.

undergorund hiphop song liked by alot of mf doom fans

= summertime,
chees eor not its an absolute classic,
the beat alone wins this comp!

some people are too underground for their own good.

You thought the poll was over! You thought the poll was over! HAA!!

We tricked you!

Rhymes Like Dimes deserves more votes, people. Its perhaps the most ubiquitous late 90s indie rap track ever.

Even if you don't like Doom's output after Doomsday, I really don't see how people put "Rhymes Like Dimes" over "Doomsday," "Hey!," or "What a Nigga Know."

Sounding grimey over a Scooby Doo sample is not an easy task.
