Now that people have had some time to digest the new tracks, what are your favorites? Of the 10 that recently surfaced, I'd say that about 8 of them are classics. Here's how I'd rank 'em in terms of personal preference:
1. Stress
2. How Could A Loser Ever Win
3. N All Dat
4. F Y'all
5. 4 Ya Stereo
6. 100 Bpms Pumped
7. Handz In Da Air
8. Ya Don't Stop
9. Got To Be Real
10. 1 Plus 1
To me, this is easily the best shit to surface this year. Nothing even comes close IMO.

When you extract the files it looks like there's two folders - the folder with the MP3s in it, and that file that's been given a folder icon so that it looks like a folder (so you'll click it presumably).Roy Johnson wrote:Damn, what the fuck is that all about.
You extract the folder, and you see the infected file listed among the tracks?

After running a recent search for the unreleased Freshco tracks, I found them on emusic.com (Freshco also submitted the comp to amazon). This is the one and only time that I've used emusic; do you think that might have something to do with it?Sigma wrote: When you extract the files it looks like there's two folders - the folder with the MP3s in it, and that file that's been given a folder icon so that it looks like a folder (so you'll click it presumably).
Otherwise, I'm drawing blanks.
I think it's your computer mate. I just downloaded the Latee compilation you uploaded 2 days ago and that's the same: -
When you extract the .scr file, it has a folder icon. If you've got file extensions hidden on your computer (the default setting in Windows) then you could easily click it thinking it was the folder full of MP3s.
Run a virus scan here: -
http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
The other possible cause is that MediaFire is somehow injecting the virus into the RAR, but I think that's highly unlikely.

I already had all this, but definitely agree that the ten new tracks are classics and some of my most favorite recently released material.
I heard rumors about next year maybe but whatever the case may be, I'm looking forward to the possibility of Freshco & Miz putting out more tracks as well.
http://www.freshcoandmiz.com/story.htm
"Today Freshco lives in Atlanta with his family and as usual, is busy taking what ever he's currently into, to that advanced level as best he can. In 2007, Freshco & Miz released a teaser "white-label" CD of 10 un-released songs (from 1989 to 1992) on Ebay (check your iTunes Store). The world wide response of that limited release has prompted the possibility of a soon to be released new CD and full length documentary. Stay tuned!"
Edit: To contribute (though not really much at all because I don't think there's much if anything left but) for those who don't have the entire Bring the Funk Thru (complete with radio edit and the mixtape version of Da Sounz) single and would like it: http://sharebee.com/ce36fd36

Bump.
Couple of questions:
01. I saw a record on ebay that was the same as the EP from 94 or 95,
except the label was different. It was white with black writing, said I think
"Empire Entertainment". It also said "DJ Premeir Presents Freshco".
I was wondering if this is official or another bootleg like those D n D EPs?
02. Does anyone know where that "N All That" track is from?
Is it from that 10 track CD?

The DJ Premier single was officially released, and the "N All Dat" track came from the 10 song CD.Verge wrote:Bump.

This is still my favorite new material that I've heard since the turn of the century - just ahead of the unreleased Phill Most Chill stuff.
Thread is a reminder of hard times back in September of '08!

I'm curious, are each of the songs tagged with the exact year of release in the properties???
