Is it do dude you are referreing to: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Timbuktu

?

he's from sweden

EDIT: Didn't see Martkshots posts first. I'm originally from Sweden. I might be able to help. Give me a quick summary of what you are looking for.

BC
Yea,it's that dude. The hook is-"It's 9 5 yall,so look alive,9 5 yall, look alive". The beat is ill but I can't really explain it. Pretty sure it's from 95,though  Any help would be cool
Sent some requests out. Hollar if I hear anything back.

Got another one on wax Timbuktu "The Burner" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pD-qF9_01A), but that's from '98. Not sure if that's the one either

And one for the highly esteemed Mr. Beacham himself, the Nuti Pack demo.
Here you go: http://www.sendspace.com/file/3e1sxf

I have the track listing at home so I'll post that later. You can see the write up on the demo from me in the Gauge Trog Blog post.

WARNING! This is some serious low budget, lo fi, dirty demo flavor. They were using the minimal for equipment; some 80s boss drum machine, casio sk-5 for samplingk, etc... NO 4 track, just using a double cassette deck as what my boy called the "poor mans 4-track".

However, it is pretty ill!

I come from an era where my first tapes were recorded with two radios facing speakers together...with the occasional phone ring, door bell, and vacuum as part of the "character" of the tape so my ears can handle it...ha

On a dumb ass move by me, I deleted my copy of Big Pun's Still Not a Player Remix. I had the dirty version which i'm sure is on the VLS somewhere but all I know is it took me a long time to find it back in the day. Can someone hook me up? Thanks.

i've got something off a DJ Cinema mix. it starts with sample of AZ's son and then goes into verses from AZ, CL Smooth, Kanye and a couple of others over what I think is an old Outkast beat. Its dope.
I'll up it when I get back from work tonight

yeah, that track is great. their first two cassettes that dropped in '93 and '95 are filled with shit like this. after that they kind of fell off. the sound evolved in a direction that i just wasn't feelin'.

Nice!

I wish we would have had this one for the Lord Digga blog post. I saw it in his discogs profile, but I couldn't find it.

For those that haven't downloaded this as of yet, Digga uses the sample that was utilized on "Dear Mama".
