Right after I uploaded those last two O.C. vls my 500GB hard drive with a lot of my favorite rap artists on it failed and started corrupting.
Thankfully, I specialize in data recovery, and it looks like I can recover most of the music. I have to copy one mp3 at a time though for now at least.
Glad your digital music collection isn't gone forever and yes, please get back to me on this whenever you can. It looks like you're one of my only real leads now that the search is (or rather the results from searches are) slowing down.

Which I expected but any others at this point would be amazing if only because of how hard to find they are, they're all rarely even mentioned on Google.

And of course right after I post my makeshift Children of the Corn 12ג€, DJ Sav*One puts up the full white label rip. It sounds pretty much exactly the same but you get a bonus instrumental and itג€™s more official.

Children of the Cornג€™s A Star is Born (192 CBR)

http://sharebee.com/b518f9d3

A Star is Born ft. Killa Kam & Bloodshed (Produced by Digga)
A Star is Born (Instrumental) (Produced by Digga)
A Star is Born (Instrumental) (Produced by Digga)
A Star is Born ft. Killa Kam & Bloodshed (A capella)

Lord Finesse ג€“ Ya Better Recognize / Thorough Fam (192 CBR)

http://sharebee.com/4d02f7be

Ya Better Recognize ft. Lord Finesse & O.C. (Produced by Lord Finesse)
Ya Better Recognize ft. Lord Finesse & O.C. (Clean) (Produced by Lord Finesse)
Ya Better Recognize (Instrumental) (Produced by Lord Finesse)
Thorough Fam ft. Royal Flush & Big L (Produced by Lord Finesse)
Thorough ft. Royal Flush & Big L (Clean) (Produced by Lord Finesse)
Thorough Fam (Instrumental) (Produced by Lord Finesse)

Edit:

VV Woooooo weeeeee.

Thanks, I have that Lizz Lucci joint up on my site (just the song itself), different rip, same quality (192), I was mainly in it/requestinג€™ for the instrumental and completeness sake I guess. Iג€™ve read that thereג€™s an a capella as well but not according to the pictures I see or discogs.

And the impossible requests keep gettin' filled. Iג€™m all for partial rips as long as they add up to complete or nearly complete rips/copies. Especially when the bitrates match up like this. Thatג€™s as good as having the full thing from the start. Couldnג€™t ask for more. I put 'em together and mirrored it (above).

If you put these 2 together you've got the complete vls, including the clean version of Thorough Fam. (http://www.discogs.com/release/823415)

rare 12" right here off of roebuck records: these cats go by the name ghetto society. one rapper is real nice, the other is decent, but his voice gets me a little 'cause he grunts a lot and even his general voice seems like a constant grunt. some people dig that style though. two decent tracks: on the a-side is don't get twisted and on the b-side is shear madness - enjoy.

here's an echo international release. the a-side contains two solid tracks: it's you i'm after and cast a deadly spell. it's not classic, but it's something you can really get into a mood for. the b-side isn't all that sturdy. the two tracks are all about love, which isn't a bad thing, but they don't do anything interesting with it - nothing to really nod your head to. but if you're in the mood for a low-key track to just let your mind wander with, it would be the second track called down with my family. enjoy this ish.

i finally gripped the bzerkos 12" and i'm really glad i did. the songs on there are going to be either loved, or hated. as you've probably figured, i love them. the a-side starts off with a track called submerged - the samples and scratching on it had me all :ohsh: and had my neck feeling really sore. the next joint has an industrial vibe to it, but i really like it - it's called realm of irrelevance. on the flip is playin in dozens, it's a decent track, but it didn't grip me like the others - you also get the instrumental for realm of irrelevance. i'm not entirely sure, but i may have heard one small skip on each of the instrumentals on the b-side. anyway, check it out and hear for yourself; there are eight tracks in total.

^ This rip doesn't include the clean versions. I'm guessing there were different pressings, but there's always a chance they were omitted here.

As always, I'll keep looking for the rest. Good day though, huh?

WHAT? Fuck yeah, you're a golden god(dess).

This link of Mr. MVP contains a put together EP, not an actual rip I don't think (because there is still a DJ talking over both Times Iz Hard and School Days from previous radio rips) so I'll keep that one on the list for now. But at the very least it's a good placeholder, saves me from putting it together myself.

And clean versions are inconsistent and a last priority (for me) anyway.

Great day indeed.

It maybe a legit rip considering the EP is an unofficial pressing.
http://www.discogs.com/Big-L-Mr-MVP/release/1367425

It also sounds like all the tracks were ripped from the same source.

I asked several owners of it at discogs if those 2 tracks have voice-overs on their copies. Hopefully I'll get a response back.

It does sound the same but so does the Unseen Picture bootleg where most of these tracks can be found (all in 192 CBR no less). And I think it would still sound the same if I put them all together too (since it'd be those 192 rips).

But yeah I was wondering that same thing actually so good thinking, thatג€™s definitely something worth finding out the answer to.

And to shorten the list some more hereג€™s all the rest of the ones I can piece together (or mostly together) based on what I already have available to me:

D.I.T.C.ג€™s Thick (256 CBR)

http://sharebee.com/3ad8a55a

Thick (Clean)
Thick
Thick (Instrumental)

N.O.T.S. Clickג€™s Back Up Off Me ft. Big L *missing* / Xperadoג€™s Watch Ya Step ft. O.C. *missing* (192 CBR)

http://sharebee.com/f1347ad3

Back Up Off Me
Back Up Off Me (Clean) *missing*
Back Up Off Me (Instrumental) *missing*
(Xperado) Watch Ya Step ft. O.C.
(Xperado) Watch Ya Step ft. O.C. (DJ Creativity Remix) *missing*
(Xperado) Watch Ya Step (Instrumental)

All my searching, mostly for the missing instrumental and DJ Creativity remix, has led to just this one site (where I canג€™t track down a link of any kind):

http://newefficiency.blogspot.com/2008/ ... lbwwa.html

O.C.ג€™s Dangerous (VBR)

http://sharebee.com/20c484b6

Dangerous ft. Big L
Dangerous ft. Fat Boy Scoop, Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz (Makinג€™ Money Mix)
Dangerous (Instrumental)

(According to discogs the white label for this had the same three songs on both sides, six tracks total. Iג€™d replicate that/duplicate them/leave them in if this was official or the rips were any different. This way just saves space until an actual digital copy comes around.)

Yeah I saw that (price). I had a feeling that link contained a put together copy but wasn't sure, now I know it stays on the list (if only because of the two tracks with voice overs).

It's good to find out, I'm glad we know now, thanks for doin' that. I'm still amazed you found a link to that one at all.
