The T.R.O.Y. blog is going to conduct an exclusive interview with Ras Kass, who is currently in prison until later this summer.

Please post your questions. Understand we'll ask as much possible and despite what some of us (myself included) may feel about him and his career decisions let's try and ask these in a respectful manor.

He doesn't do many interviews, especially being in jail but he is going to one for us because he values our site and our blog.

Is he sitting on a "proper" recording of the unrelease Demo On Ice? What about unreleased Western Hemisfear material? Any plans bringing out some unreleased gems?

1. Is it true that he plans to rerelease Soul on Ice (Read this on ras kass central.)
2. What was the reason for the beef with the rest of the hemisfear? Some say it was over money and some say it was over the creative process from Soul On Ice)

Ras Questions: What do you think about East coast elitism, & do you think it's died down? You obviously have visited Jersey knowing Chino. Do you see much in common between NJ & Cali?

What was his original take on the 'Soul On Ice' production? Did he like Bird & Vooodu's beats?

Was he happy with the way SOI came out?

Why did he stop working with Bird after SOI? They seemed like good friends, did they have a falling out?

Was 'Jack Frost' originally supposed to be on SOI? sonsidering that it was on the sampler.

Will he ever put out the full version of 'Jack Frost', considering it's limited to 20 or so test pressings?

Does he have the masters to the SOI demo's? If so any plans to put them out?

How did he feel about Western HemisFEAR as a crew?

Is there any unreleased Western HemisFEAR material?

Why caused him to have beef with Vooodu! and Meen Green?

Is he still in contact with Bird, Vooodu!, and Meen Green?

What caused him to change SOI towards the end of it's release? Was it because of the Western Hemisfear appearences, or sample clearence issues?

Why did he leave 'Patchwerk' for 'Priotiy Records'?

Were 'Understandable Smooth' and 'Music of Business' orginally planned to be put on 'Rasassination'?

How did he feel about 'Rasassination', was he happy with it?
