Not half as good as the School Boy Crush 12". Until I get this issue resolved, I can't rip any vinyl for you guys. Sorry.

On a positive note, Darrin Ross signed my record sleeves stating he'll be releasing limited edition Funk Vibe, Lord Aaqil, and a "complete" Merdah CD probably in May so look out for those.

Heh, Wreckyard was indeed released on Master Jam Records. I was talking about the 2 emcees.

Sadly because of work, family, and low dough, I haven't been to frequent my favorite vinyl spots in NY for a few years now. Maybe once or twice in the last two years.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw.
If you didn't know, yeah, we're in a recession over here.
So, while all these out of country kids are paying a months rent for a 12", places like The Sound Library and Big City records are dramatically dropping their prices. This is what I copped yesterday-

Chill Rob G - Ride The Rhythm (og pressing picture cover) - $20 [*$100]
Black Attack - Holdin' It Down/Verbal Attack 12" (sealed) - $10 [*$30]
Godfather Don - Life Aint The Same/On The Other Side 12" - $10
Grand Puba - Little Of This 12" - $3
Mental Illness - Amazin's Not Playin' 12" - $1
Tha Alkaholiks - Maryjane 12" - $3 [*$25]
B-1 - Verbal Affairs 12" - $1
Diamond D, Sadat X - Feel It 12" - $3 [*$18]
The Beatnuts - Find That 12" - $5 [*$60]
Young Zee - Everybody Get/Milk 12" - $3
Jigmastas - Chandon/Iz U Dee 12" - $3 [*$18]

*denotes prices that I saw these for a few years ago at The Sound Library

Bear in mind, when those uber rare records come through that nobody knows the name of, they usually go in the dollar crates.
I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm being honest. I think the people that are charging all these crazy prices are serious cock suckers for taking advantage of kids like that. I'm not dissing you for buying them. Shit, when I really want a record, sometimes I might have to pay a retard price myself.

But seriously, I remember copping Mytee G Poetic's - Nuff Ruffness 12" from the Sound Library for $6 and now a certain exploitive piece of shit is selling it for $350. And it don't even have "Listen To The Lyrics" on it.

I remember seeing Examples EP for $18 3 years ago and thinking that was expensive for something I never heard of. Then, after hearing it recently, I figured I go and cop it. Yeah fucking right. Some douche bag was selling it for something like $450 and apparently somebody copped it because it's not up there anymore.

And I remember copping HDM - Real Emcees 12" for $2 at TSL and they had like 4 more copies for $2 each. Now, some fuck face faggot is selling that shit for $75.

Aww, fuck it, I ain't complaining.
It is what it is. Just had to vent that right quick.

no wonder cause Ed always puts the highest price possible on it even when the "market" is saturated
