Have you ever been digging through a box of cd's only to find something better than what you were originally searching for? Clearly, that happened to me over the weekend when I found this one. Here is Guru's Jazzmatazz Live! at Radiomafia, Belford, France on September 27th, 2001. He's on tour promoting his Jazzmatazz Streetsoul (volume 3) album. I think this was recorded from the radio as there is a French introduction, but an absolutely perfect listening experience.

Definitly not recorded in France...but in spite of that, Jazzmatazz vol. 2 it's still his best. he kind of let me down on that 3rd volume...Guru is nice in a live show, the voice is the only problem, really annoying when it's about raping on stage, but works more mellow when the shit's more jazzy or soulfoul ...anyways, last year he went to Portugal, i mean, amd Primo too...November i think...

My bad on butchering the language, any idea what it is? I only tagged it according to the information I had plus what I could find out about it online.

And I made the cover myself, it is NOT official. I just can't listen on my iPod without some artwork.

I only have a CD-R. It was a disc I got years ago when I used to do a lot of trading. Thanks for the info.

Haha ok Jaz aka Jazzy Jeff, "when it's about PERFORMING on stage", does it sound...how should i say, more appealing to you?...Thought so...anyways, and in spite of his voice, Guru is stlll one my favorites...
