The thread you can't miss! Check the Soundtracks/OST's...!

Post by Mr. J Selectah »

I know there was a thread here somewhere, a few weeks ago, about making lists of rap movies soundtracks, and i had most of them, except for "Set it off", plus other two or threee more.....and so, i wanted to share all my soundtracks (at the least most of them, the ones who are organized)...there's 42 OST's in here, and three pages in mediafire...take your pick, and please, if you have any others besides theses ones i've uploaded, share them as well...

Nah man, see it's not like i've missed it, because i still have more OST's, but the shit either ain't organized or it's incomplete...so those are the ones i have fully secure, and even so, it's 42 OST's, it ain't no joke...it took me more than half day to upload all of them...and now it's just a matter of somebody upload some more OST's, not included on my list, and please, 90's material...
Echo Leader, do you really think Gridlock'd is underrated?...i think even Above the Rim is way more underrated than Gridlock'd, because he had a well known Tim Roth acting with him, and plus, it was made "closer" to the year of his death, that besides being a commercial success...

Definitely an underrated flick.

First of all, "Gridlock'd" wasn't a commercial success at all, J; it only grossed like 5 million in it's first weekend. Also, even though it had Tim Roth in it, he wasn't exactly a big box office draw. It also gets overlooked in lieu of joints like "Juice" and "Poetic Justice."

Nice dirt_dog, thanks. I had forgotten about Juice OST, better yet, i found it in another lost folder somewhere...but i've found another soundtrack, that i believe it's a rare one...and since it's only one, i will put the tracklist...

Dead Homiez OST (1997, LA)

1- Bullet Loc - Casket drops
2 - DK Toon - Strange
3 - Quan & Skubie - Perfect picture
4 - Volume 10 - Servin' & dippin'
5 - Flowwood - Bang to the boogie
6 - Ganjah K feat. Big Cartoon - When your homie dies
7 - Dutch - California
8 - Bullet loc - Ask me no questions
9 - G.o.d. feat. I Smooth 7 and DK Toon - Pour out some brew
10 - Sinister - Sinful one
11 - Volume 10 - cold cock that bitch
12 - Abstract Rude - The front row

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=8143 ... 0a1ae8665a

Volume 10 and Sinister have the best tracks on the OST...

Yeah i know, sorry about that...most of my files are Wma, because i almost didn't have any memory left in my hard drive, os i had to convert my files from mp3 to wma...and it's logical...i mean, some mp3 can have more than 10MB, even if the track is only 04:00 lenght, but converting it to Wma, i might have 3.60MB, for instance...so yes, it makes lots of difference to me...just be a little patient and converted them into mp3 again...

Good job on uploading these. I felt too lazy to upload my OST's when i made that thread about classic soundtracks. Even though they're wma's, i copped a few of those that i couldn't find anywhere else. But you took the time to upload em so props on that. Here's some more. Some of these are post 2000, but i felt should be included in this thread, and some are more R&B flavor due to the correlating flicks but they're still good 90's OST's.

Oh and Dat_Trifflin_Ass_Dude , what's the password for that Boomerang OST? And Players Club OST? Or maybe others...i don't know which blog you got that from...
Oh and i've just noticed now, Game Related OST is also missing in that list, it's a double cd score...

my bad about that. I just hunted those ost's down real quick when i posted em, didn't know some of em had passwords. Here's a few other links for em (with passwords for those that have em) along with other OST's. If any of the other links i posted have passwords let me know and I'll try to find em or post up another link. Majority of them shouldn't have passwords though. This is gonna b the thread of all threads here regarding soundtracks from back in the days.

pw for all files is "willforall" from http://willforall.blogspot.com/. If u like grown ass R&B like I do instead of all the kiddy pop fairy shit that's out right now, then go check that site out. They got some 70s stuff, lotta 80s joints, and early to mid 90s smooth R&B.

What...what the fuck? Oh shit, i'm getting all hyped up in here. Those goddamn 90's years man, oh my god...there are almost 100 soundtracks posted in this thread, you know?...Kazaam? Hav plenty? The 6th man? and a few others...i dind't even know about their existence, shit...but seriously, it's crazy...of all the 43 soundtracks i have uploaded (including "Dead Homiez" appart from my list above), i'm not really sure how many of those movies i've seen, but i guess it don't make 20...Dat_Trifflin_Ass_Dude, i'm curious, did you actually see half of all these movies posted by both of us? Or you just picked up the OST's randomly?...
It i had to choose a favorite (which is a very hard choice), i guess i would have to say the Spike Lee joints gets the winning points...Clockers is just one of the best soundtracks ever made, for real...
Man, thank you for all your help in my thread...so many fucking movies...but i gotta say tho, some movies ain't "all that", no good script, bad acting, bad directing...while others just remain classics!

No doubt man, we all here to reminisce.... Except for 4-5 of them, I've seen all of the flicks mentioned here in my childhood/teen years. I've mentioned my top 5 favorite OST's in that original thread I made. As far as the movies go, I gotta say Above the Rim, Clockers, New Jersey Drive, Do the Right Thing, Slam, Trespass, Juice, New Jack City, Jason's Lyric, and Fear of the Black Hat are among my favorites from this group.
