The production on Chi Ali's "The Fabulous Chi Ali"

Post by Wreck-It »

So we all know how good the beats were on this album, and if your like me, you wish you had a version of this album with Chi Ali's vocals left the fuck off. So, does anyone know if the instrumentals for this album even exist? Because I'd be dying to hear them shits, and I'm sure many of ya'll would also...?

best you can get is the instr from the singles that were released.....

age aint nuthin
funky lemonade
let the horns blow
roadrunner
and funky lemonade remix

i think those are the only instrumentals that exist?

Yeah, I never saw a instrumental release... And does somebody know the story behind the track "No Surrender, No Retreat" of Chi Ali? On what is it released?

I would overpay tremendously to get my hands on the instrumental LP. Maybe not $355 like tape maniak spends on a Larry Larr EP, but you know, a pretty healthy amount. We're talking about 14 early 90s tracks produced by the Beatnuts.

An "In My Room" instrumental is so necessary.

Absolutely necessary. Been searching for an instrumental version of this song (and album) for years.

chi-ali doesnt annoy me as much as i think he should on this album...certainly not as much as shyheim does on his debut...and im pretty sure dres wrote this album

that said these beats should have been for a beatnut debut full length instead of them dropping an ep a year later...i always wondered how they could give someone else much less a kid such ridiculous stuff before they ever even released a single of their own

They must have thought that Chi-Ali was really gonna blow up.

well beatnuts held off for quite a while with their solo debut....a bunch of beats probably got sold to other people in the meantime....

im guessing these instr will never surface unless beatnuts themselves put it out

is relativity records even still around?
