Come Widdit (OG or Remix)

Post by Stunna7516 »

I used to think this wasn't a question (remix) but recently Ive been really digging the original mix. What do you guys think?

Also, I really dig the OG Soul On Ice even vs. the remix, which almost always gets the nod from most people.

I love both versions, but I think I like the remix better.

always been OG for me, but probably just cause it's the one that was on the tape and so was the one I listened to the most.

I prefer the original, but all three versions are great.

I recently went back to the Ahmad LP, and it's even more terrible than I remembered. Such a shame, because dude was obviously dope, as evidenced by "Come Widdit", "Back In The Day", the Wake Up Show freestyles, etc.

Yep - can't remember the tracks, but there was always like 3 joints on there that I liked, and couldn't understand how the same guy was capable of making such shit for the rest of the same album.

Remix. And the Ahmad LP is definitely one of my guilty pleasures, I bump it hard on Cali Summer days.

Fredwreck Remix by far.
I didn't really like the og back then. It's cool now, but nowhere near the remix.

And I don't remember ever hearing that other remix. Pretty nice.
Thanks Jaz.

I truly thought I was the only big fan of this track.

This is actually where I first heard of Ras. I was on Saafir since the D.U. day's, and Ahmad had a couple of good videos, so I too was duped into buying his CD, back when CD's were bought, and it hurt extra hard when the shit was extra wack.

I gotta go for the OG though. That bassline just shuffles along perfectly with the drum kicks, just perfect.
