Mel-Man - The Melman Delivers (1991) & more

Post by JustDuWitt »

Even in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, Mel-Man's material is hard to come by. It's likely because the majority of it was released on tape more than 15 years ago.

For those that don't know, Mel made his imprint on the game by co-producing with Dr. Dre from the mid-90s to early 2000s. Mel remained behind the scenes throughout much of his career. However, that didn't stop him from influencing two of the most influential producers in the history of hip-hop, Dr. Dre and RZA.

Word, Jasiri is a good dude. I just compiled the compilation... in Pittsburgh, if u hang around the right spots u get to know every body. So I took the initiative to throw something like this together to build the relationships amongst artists in the city, as well as to get them some recognition elsewhere.

It's working out really good thus far, I'm getting a lot of good feedback. I don't promote wackness, if I didn't think that these artists had talent, I wouldn't have taken the time to do something like this.

it's happened that my motherboard crashed and i don't have time to go to the IT service with it. i'm trying to find some free time at work to go with the motherboard at the service and ask them what's with it.
