Congrats Verge, I really hope you didn't have to shell out too much for that.

Thanks guys(n gals).
Oh, I shelled out plenty for it, imo. The most I ever spent on music.
But it could've been way worse. Someone's selling it on discogs for 500
Euros.
Yeah, Ho1o, that's the Othorized. I been wanting that one since I had "Easy"
on a radio tape back in the day.

Well, I'm almost through with my income tax money that was supposed to
help me sustain throughout the year. Lol .. But at least I got some shit that
I really wanted and some clothes and some bills paid.

Dynametrix... Nice, I bought a few Kold Sweat releases in the early 90's, UK Hip Hop was pretty tight back in those days.

I bought ADOR's the concrete on vinyl for $20. Shipping cost is another 20 bucks but I'm okay with that, it was a good day yesterday :D

I use Audacity. Just make sure your settings for your sound card are the way you want it (I know mine has a separate EQ that can throw things off) and you may have to adjust the input volume in Audacity and on your mixer. Often if it's too loud you will know immediately upon playback.

Fellas, do we have a tutorial at hand for this kind of thing? I know it seemed overwhelming when I started the process.

diggy64, yeah we've had threads with instructions on how to rip vinyl proper, not sure how I could keep it on hand, you know? Like, I can't sticky a thread like that cause we already have half the first page filled with stickies. Any ideas, let me know.

Thats a pretty bad mislabeling job they did there.

First, I don't get why this isn't even on discogs and why it's not common. Me and my boy had doubles of this back in the day and another one of my boys had a copy too.
Butters is dope. Whichever one has the hook, "I got the butters over..", nice track. does this go for over 10-15 dollars?

Recently picked up the Shadez Of Brooklyn EP:
http://philaflava.blogspot.com/2010/05/ ... um-ep.html
And Sunz Of Man Deep In The Water EP on Echo records. Pissed me off to have to re-cop this for $20 after originally finding it years ago in a dollar bin, but so is the ways of the vinyl world now.
Apparently Echo was a type bootleg label according to Shabazz, he never got a dime from the record and never gave the label permission to drop it.
Also copped the Cenobites LP cause my og EP isn't in the greatest condition.
And Adagio The Obvious Joint, but it's the second pressing and dude labeled it wrong on discogs. and Adagio's Angel record but it doesn't have "Its Rare" on it. :jaz:

this goes for 5 bucks, of course there is exception and you can see for $ 20 , which is weird.
