Yeah man, I know you've been looking for these (especially the Biggie joints) for a while now. And I sure wouldn't mind hearing any / all of them.

R.A. the Rugged Man said that there's an early nineties "lost song" with him, Biggie and Akinyele, that isn't the original version of For My Peeps though, is it?

Break the Wrath in Half was (as far as I know) just four bars from Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em that Ra scrapped after him and Kane squashed the beef.

I definitely want to hear more tracks from the Oh My God! project, After You Die and Welcome to the Hood were ill.

And I've wanted to hear that Love Brothers (and Bitch Haters Club) material ever since I first heard about it.

It looks like the original version of Set It Off Troop is the only one on here that I've actually been searching for longer than you, though of course you are the one with the connections to possibly make it happen. Finesse has it under lock and key, get at him and make 'em drop this historical track!

Good idea for a thread. I have some (additional) grails of my own that I'll post up later.

Back around 96 there was a rumor j-ro, aceyalone and saafir recorded a few tracks, an EP's worth. I'd like to hear that.

Any of the unreleased Tribe stuff that is in the JIVE vaults. Would have loved to have heard the other unreleased Tribe stuff and Tip and Dilla stuff that was lost in the fire.

Supposedly Jay and Nas had recorded a few tracks for HHID other than Black Republican, I would love to hear those.

Basically, any unreleased or early stuff from any of my favorite artists.

My man DJ 3rd Rail out in Chicago has the promo CD of the whole album on Aftermath. I highly doubt he'd rip it though, he's not a mp3 kinda guy... dude is STRICTLY vinyl.

Hit him up and give it a shot... Dj3rdRail@gmail.com

His website http://dj3rdrail.yuku.com seems to not be working at the moment for whatever reason...

Thanks for asking, Mike. Reminded me of this article:

http://www.unkut.com/2008/07/tracks-tha ... idney-for/

I certainly want to hear everything in this and Mike's list. A lot of the comments below the unkut list sound incredible too. I see some TROY heads (Mike, step one) left comments including me, under my then-alias ozu. Partial wishlist:

ORGANIZED KONFUSION- RACK EM UP
Prince Po joint recorded for their 1st LP.
"'Rack 'Em Up' is about the game of pool talked about in a real-life situation- how you got a white ball phukking up all the colored balls and the eight-ball is in the middle. Building off that."- Pharoahe Monch, RapPages, Oct. 1993
GODFATHER DON- PRE-HAZARDOUS DEMO PROD. BY BOOSTIN KEV
Mentioned by Don in the DWG interview.
RZA/LAST EMPEROR- HE LIVES (EL-P REMIX)
Allegedly rejected by Rawkus for release.
AUDIO TWO- FIRST DEAD INDIAN LP
Nuff said.

Damn, I hope this surfaces at some point.

Back in 2008, I contacted the dude who sold the tape on ebay for $100. I couldn't get him to hook me up with a CDR for less than $75, so I just gave up. I'm kinda regretting that decision right now.

For what it's worth, I would not have wanted to part with $75 for a CDR....and I might have regretted it too. Hope that helps.

You know, in that same interview Bobbito asks them about the "songs upon songs that never get put out", to which Poetry replies "We just trashed another song today, in fact." :naswtf:
They also go on to say that they were supposed to do a song w/Redman & K-Solo and one w/Dres, and one w/Q-Tip which I guess turned out to be Let's Organize.

Poor Righteous Teachers - Declaration Of Independence
Original Scheduled Release Date "Spring 2001 / but it was never officially released"
Label: Exit 7a Records
"It was finally made for available for download only in January 2007 at http://www.intelligentmuzik.com"

Track Listing:
Dangerous
Urban Me
Just Live
What Ever U Wish
Dis Money
This Lie
Losinג€™ My Religion
Itג€™s Love
Nuttinג€™ NU
2 Marvelous 4 Wordz
http://freshpressmedia.com/images/wise.htm
We got tha next album that's gonna come out off tha label is a Wise Intelligent solo joint and this record is a style record. It's like every rhyme style ever done in hip hop is on this record. It's like every MC is in me on this record and it's a real crazy record that no other rapper has been able to attempt or achieve or even fathom in his mind to try and do. It's every rhyme style, I kid you not. It's everything that Wise Intelligent and PRT has ever done on one compact disc that will be out in September. But before that is released, we put together some exclusive jointz that PRT had composed between 1996 and 2000 that we never put on any records. Alot of stuff is older music and some of it is newer music. It's called "The declaration of Independence." Just look for tha CD with tha food stamp on it. It's a dollar food stamp joint and this record right here is dear to my heart. If you listen to tha content of each song, you will understand why it's very close to me. We gonna bring it out there when we come Tonight Thursday August 5th 2004 at tha Gabah in Hollywood Ca. So that CD will be available for purchase. A new PRT album will also be happening soon. You know right now everybody is airing out their heads and clearing their minds right now. But it will happen and it will be on tha Intelligentmuzik label so it's all good right now. I wouldn't wanna be no other rapper but me right now.

I always wondered if this "Lost tapes"-type project was the same thing they dropped in 2006 :
