I was just gonna ask you if you could rip the whole track. Thanks again.
If you happen to see that record for a decent price anywhere, let me know,
please.

I know this is too easy but I can't think of it...

I don't think its a hip-hop track but has been sampled mad times

anyone know the name of the joint where it has a solo vocal of someone singing a melody like:

" BADIHA BADIHA BA BA BA BA BADIHA, BA BA BAAAA"

From 00:55 on...
If that's not it, I know the other one your talking about it. I'll remember it.
It's from like between 79 and 82...damn, I've heard it a billion times on
KISS FM.
Tribe or DeLa sampled it for an intro on one of their first albums...

That voice sounds familiar to me but I am drawing a blank.
Thanks for posting this up for me Jaz, I still haven't made any progress in figuring this one out, Zeal Optics is useless in responding to my emails. You would think they should be giving props to the artist for using his track in this promo.

tried this on an other forum a while ago but nobody came up with something, so let me try it here (late 80's or early 90's):

I used to listen to ((UK's) BFBS danceshow with Westwood, from 1990 on, and he played 2 tracks which I still have in my memory, but never came across those in all these years. I bet some of you have heard them too at the time.

1 track is by "unit3" called "here it is" which was meant to be put on Marley Marl's in control vol. 2, but didn't. it uses a sample of Chuck D's line "here it is!" from the start of "night of the living baseheads" and the main beat that's used is similar to Cookie crew's remix of got to keep on or schoolly d's gangster boogie.

the other one is called "dopegram" by ???. unfortunately I have no snippets because I lost the tape I recorded these on.

I hope someone out here can share the knowledge. thanks

Looking for a song by a rapper named queensbridge. This is the hardest name to find in music because it is used so much in other contexts, can anybody point me in the direction of some of his tracks?

Thought I had this KCR demo from 92-93. The best I can describe it is that it had a trumpet sample and concluded with the emcee rapping something like, ג€œג€¦lick the balls. Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huhג€, followed immediately by Roy Ayers chorus ג€œ...sunshiiine (plink-plink-plink).ג€ Verge?

^Not sure off the top of my head, but I'll think about this one. I'm thinking
of the WKCR promo "Feel My Balls" now. Lol, that shit was a pretty great
promo. Over the Cars beat, I think?

Dopegram was a hard track from what I remember, dunno who it was by though

I dont know 'Here it Is' but there may be a heap of tracks that didnt make the grade for Marley Marl - In Control2

I have another track that never made the finshed product. I found out it's by someone called Rappertaire

Here's a shard from the very end of a radio tape

Marley Marl feat Rappertaire - You Cant Get with Me

www.mediafire.com/?2mtwgzy5iyy

Should I put this in requests too?

Thanks in advance
