that was never explicit or posted anywhere, unless i missed something.

judges, you can use my 2nd one for judging purposes. i did a washington dc only mix from 1995 too, but i'll save that for a later post. great idea for a competition!

I've posted this in this cleaned up version many times, yet it still seems to never get mentioned by elitist vinyl heads when they speak on Kool Keith, Don, or Cenobites unreleased material. So, again, FTW, T.R.O.Y. heads who don't already have this, enjoy!
I believe I chopped this one off a dirtywaters Bobbito tape and cleaned it up a LOT. But before the internet, I had this once on a Bobbito tape, lost it and looked for many years to finally hear it again. I think Blockhead posted it first so peace to him.
T.R.O.Y. in the house every day, all day.
track is shit hot...thanks verge

Fuck that... just because the most outspoken fucks here are all pro-USA on some Palin shit, don't limit hiphop.

The rules were simple and did not exclude outside of the USA.

Point taken cenzi...but i've presumed, having the expressions "southern", "midwest", "eastcoast", "westcoast", that it was strickly USA...because there are so much more beyond that. I wonder tho, if it's outside, is it only english-spoken countries or could it be others, from 1995, but made in their original language...anyways, the UK and Germany have so many appealing tracks from that same year (in english, i mean)...
I've made six compilations so far, and had to choose one for the challenge, number 2, that is...so i'll keep on waiting until the challenge get started and the votes come.

aleph isn't that Bored Stiff from 1994?...Hehe you have included three or four tracks that have been rotating in my compilations (Fugees, Aceyalone) and the others (Red Hot Lover Tone and OC & Organized Konfusion)...at this point, it gets more complicated to do the comps without repeating some names previous included in other compilations...
mayhem, thanks for the EC Illa reminder, good choice for the Midwest request, overall it's a very dark album, from start to finish...

Hmmm, you very well may have info I don't, J. My guess is that they were hawking the Explainin tape independently way before it got some kinda wider distribution in 95. My "research" comes from discogs (not the most reliable, I know), but also a review in a late 95 issue of URB. I don't know if those sources count for anything but it's all I have access to.

@ vaporized: I was thinkin of including a Screwed version of MC Breed's 7 Years but it was way too long

@mayhem: Good looks on that OC Future Rock remix! I been wanting to check it out for a minute.
