$75 for that Genelec & Memphis Reigns album? :ohsh:
I found it on amazon a couple years ago, for about $400. Then I found it on discogs for about $200-250, so I thought $75 for an album I really wanted was not too much.
A few months ago someone offered the album for 4 or 5 $ at amazon.com. The one who got it for that price is still smiling I guess...

question about this record

Post by atlantiswasreal »

Hey , need some advice about getting this record I found at the store the other day.

http://www.discogs.com/Jeru-The-Damaja- ... se/1583090

First off, does anyone have any info on this record...like who produces these remixes? What is TOO much to pay for this? I'm usually not into paying more than 10 for a 12", but am willing to budge some f the remixes are done by someone i've actually heard of before.

link here via Crates of AG - http://rapidshare.com/#!download|752l33 ... .rar|13907

Thanks in advance.

Love those tape purchases. I had just transfered over to CD's when those album came out - except for T.I.M.E - so never actually saw those albums on tape.

 I've never seen this one for a decent price but been wanting it for a minute. I don't think there's any real rips online besides one with J Love drops on it. So that would be highly appreciated if you could rip it, when you get a chance of course. Good shit, diggy64.

Good looking out, diggy, you are indeed the mothafuckin man. Looking forward to whatever other treats you got in store.

I caught a copy of that SOP record a couple of weeks ago for a pretty decent price which was nice. I just wish it also had the Echo mixtape version on there, too, with the extra Problemz verses, but oh well. Black Attack kills it too on there and the beginning of his verse is what was sampled for the hook for his "Holdin It Down" 12.
"i said it go like, one for smoke and two for the hash, black attack'll represent the big niggas with the cash.."
I also had found the sample to the main/my favorite track off that Crime Unit 12, but now I can't find it. Dolt. If I stumble on it again, I'll post it.

No doubt on that SOP. I love that track. I'll have to revisit that Echo tape again for the difference, I dig when peeps like you remember shit like that. Let me know on that Crime Unit sample, I would be amped to learn that info as well.

Pretty sure it's a Vinyl Reanimators white label. There was a VR thread around these parts a while back and I think these were posted...

I just bought the double vinyl LP of the Celph Titled & Buckwild album Nineteen Ninety Now. I'm very happy this shit ended up gettin pressed on wax.
"Wicked = Genuinely loves Hiphop and respects it because he grew up during the time when it wasn't full of southern mongoloids and Lil Wayne rappers. From his mixes you can tell he knows his shit. The problem is, when you are a smart dude preaching to a bunch of fucking morons, you end up getting singled out as the douche."

Yo kartman, that Das Efx and Pete Rock & CL Smooth 12" singles look like represses. Why settle for those??? It's not hard to find the originals. Represses are wack.
