Sorry, fellas. I'm an instrumental fiend. It was a bummer to find out that only the vocal track had been included, and that was before I even heard the song in question.

Of course it had to include one of my all-time favorite basslines, utilized in a Necro-produced track, among others (currently drawing blanks).

If I'm the only person that requests it, then don't bother.

Godfather Don, Cage/Dj Eli, and others I can't remember right now either.

Right - the Cage track from the Truly Gifted Ones single. That's the one that I had in mind.

Elite Bomb Squad-Demo Tape

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2L4818UV

Image

this is one of my favorite demos. a 5 song EP from a group called Elite Bomb Squad. first off, they're not "THE" Bomb Squad. second, it's funny because 2 of the 5 members are named Cryptic & Jest (2 member of the Atoms Family). i tried to confirm with Alaska if they had a group prior to the Persecution release and he says he doesn't think so. i have no clue where this group is from. some of the vocals hint at Cali (they kind of have a resemblance to Hiero/SOM) but some of the beats point to an East coast influence. there is no contact info so your guess is as good as mine. this EP suffers from song length disease. but the production is pretty fucking good. they just kind of rhyme over the whole thing. check it out. i present to you Cryptic, Jest, Saf, Tell & Screw: The Elite Bomb Squad

ENJOY

until next time.......

Thanks a lot for sharing these demos Nobs, much appreciated.

Some of the joints on Mr Dilligaf's Reverbnation page are surprisingly good!

That DILLIGAF tape is dope. He kinda remind me of Nine, with slightly better lyrics, but that don't mean much. Still worth the download for the beats and vibe.

Much appreciation Nobs & Aleph, sweet stuff. Props. I'm down with the "Mr. Policeman" instrumental, if it's no trouble. Thanx.

All credit goes to nobs, from acquiring to sharing; I just helped rip a couple of tapes.

Like nobs said, we didn't think anyone wanted the King Sun instro, but I forgot the # of hardcore beatheads that were here. He has the tape, so when he gets the chance I'm sure he'll up it.

From here on in, it's entirely nobs' show... (pressure pressure hint hint)

A.L.F.-Always Livin' Foul (demo cassette)

this one came out in 96. i am assuming this was released (or passed out to DJs) before the actual vinyl release. i guess there is some misconception as far as what was an original version and what wasn't. on this cassette there are 4 tracks...

1) Inhale (Original Version) i am assuming this is the original version. everything i see online claims a remix

2) Murda Cauze (a lot of people said this song wasn't on the 12". after some research i noticed that on YouTube there is a song called "High & Bent" remix but this song is actually posted. but according to the tape it is called "Murda Cauze"

3) High & Bent

4) High & Bent (edit)

it really confused the fuck out of me but i believe there is at least one song on this version not on the actual later released 12". guys help me out on this one....

Mr. DILLIGAF-Do It Look Like I Give A Fuck??!!?

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NI4IBYMC

i love finding unheard of NJ artists. this one here is special. a 1994 full length demo release from a dude named Mr. DILLIGAF (do it look like i give a fuck?) from Patterson, NJ. this album ranges from pretty dope cuts to shitty produced and recorded verses over Nas beats to him doing the Role Call on Ed & Dre's Hot 97 show. overall it is a slow listen but with enough nice cuts to be enjoyable. his rhyming isn't super strong. the beats are pretty cool when they aren't sloppily engineered. it scared me a little because song 1 & 2 each have the same beat haha. not only that but he taped side 1 on side 2. i guess he didn't care and ultimately probably this attention to detail is why he was never signed. that or maybe he just wasn't that good. you be the judge...

King Sun-"Mr. Policeman" (prod. by Jazzy Jay)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E36PU5JK

Image

this right here is fucking awesome. an unreleased demo that was shopped to be put on the "Who's The Man" soundtrack and never made it. I love finding unknown shit and Jazzy Jay killed this beat. King Sun killed the rhymes. dope guitars and pianos over a hard drum break. just check it out

more to come soon....
thanks for sharing this D.I.L.I.G.A.F.! this shit is dope as hell! gonna check out the other links too.

half of you probably aren't following me on Twitter so i will play nice!!

Emskee-"No Props" & "No Gimmicks"

NJ based MC. you've heard his promos on various Stretch & Bob shows. way ahead of his time. great production on these. circa 94...

http://www.divshare.com/download/15551607-660

http://www.divshare.com/download/15569150-c3d

Freedom Troop 187-"Sad Song"

early 90's Bay Area rap with Bomb Squad sounding production. some amateurish qualities especially in the scratch department but super rugged and very awesome!!

http://www.divshare.com/download/15552286-c8e

Armed & Dangerous-"Big Drug Dealer"

same A&D from Brooklyn? i think. from a 2 song demo (will post next track soon) rugged early 90's BK shit!

http://www.divshare.com/download/15552352-258

The Rapthologist-"Quick Fast In A Hurry"

i think this dude lived in NY and then moved to TX. wanted to be Rakim or something. great fucking song taken from his 4 song demo.

http://www.divshare.com/download/15553759-ff6

The Headhunters-2 Song Demo

these guys were a NC based group from 92 i believe. probably the best 2 song demo i have heard (although i haven't heard many)

http://www.divshare.com/download/15561904-484

http://www.divshare.com/download/15576775-53d

The Outlaws-Hoppin' Trains

taken from the unreleased promo only Raw Azz cassette only "Superheroes of the Ghetto" album. these guys are pretty rugged. K-Rob did all the production on this record!

http://www.divshare.com/download/15563089-d19

Force Beyond Control-"This Is For The MC's"

Bronx demo from 89. super minimalistic but i really dig it. this is the best sounding song on the 5 song demo quality wise. was recorded over a Mister Magic show. not too professional haha

http://www.divshare.com/download/15569162-cf2

Black 2 Tha Point-Tres Reality

early 90's Jersey rap trio. not much i can say besides cool!!

http://www.divshare.com/download/15571687-a5a

stay tuned!
