As we wind down 2011, weגre real excited to kick off December with a seasonal mix to welcome the holiday cheer. A full on Christmas mix for a specialty, all vinyl program is a tall order, and we surely couldnגt put something like this together on our own. Fortunately, at the suggestion of a few friends of the program we dialed up Ridgewood, QNS DJ MX Greens. We were told heגs THE Christmas DJ. Prior to this set I wasnגt really sure what that credential meant, as I hadnגt imagined the variety of tunes, stories and concept records that were put out in the larger גfunk / soulג continuum. Within his record collection, thereגs an ever-expanding section of HOLIDAY FUNK LPs/45″s ג partially built up by solo digs, but also as a result of any funky holiday records gravitating his way as friends pass along a record here or there, knowing that itגs getting cataloged in a deep repository of Christmasג (funky) past.

Im on soundcloud - haventb paid anything but although I only get 2 hours upload time I've been on there for about a year. Whats up with the 14 day thing?

Theres mixcloud but you cant really download off it, unless you put a mediafire link or something in the comments section
