Sha'Dasious. Nice, you know they brought it in Philly in the mid-90's.

That first track BANGS.

I liked his '94 LP but I like this better....Wow

 i didn't know about him til getting online and remember only really liking a few tracks on the album, one called "rough, rugged, and raw" was dope. But absolutely this first Reality Rules track knocks the other stuff out the box. I love that beat.
I'm seeing he also produced on that Ram Squad - Ramboom 12, another Ram Squad and some Tasc4orce.
I hope these cats that are selling demo tapes on ebay are dubbing them shits first, lol.

This dude has a 6 track Raggedy Man demo. Holy shit, my head just exploded.

Hahaa.. there's something fishy here though.
I think dude is doing exactly what i said i would do and dubbing them. Except then maybe he's selling the dubs too.

There was another Diamond Stunts Blunts demo over a month ago on ebay and that Red Light Green Light whatever song was the "DIFFERENT SONG THAT DIDNT MAKE ALBUM!!" or something like that. And now it's up again but only that song is on the tape, not the rest?

Then with the Raggedy Man one, I was watching that one, cause like you my head almost exploded when i saw it, and i could swear the auction ended and someone paid over $150 for it.

Just looking at my "items being watched" list at ebay, peep it:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/290675540369?ss ... 1465wt_958
same Raggedy Man demo but different cassette from the same seller.

There's no way this guy is having more than one copy of these ultra rare demo tapes within months with multiple tapes.

Another one is the Candy Store demo:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/290675542419?ss ... 1156wt_958
already sold but up for sale again from the same sellerbut the tape looks exactly the same at least so maybe there was shilling going on or he didn't get how much he wanted. Who knows tho?

Can someone tell me what else was on the Diamond D demo tapes?
Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג€™ straw hat with a feather in it.

Tim Dog: ג€œWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iג€™m gonna do that shit in my video. Iג€™m gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatג€™s Tim Dog gonna wear?ג€

I just really looked for the original item sale as much as i could and couldn't find it for ya.
But I'm certain they were absolutely from the album and most likely were not different versions in any way because he would have included them on this one track dub demo.
If Ho1ogramz was around, i bet she could find that og listing and give you a definite answer. Wishful thinking, lol.

Thanks once again Verge, it's a shame too that the Stunts Blunts insts lp rip I have doesn't have all the tracks from the album. Probably weren't on the release.

No prob, sorry i couldn't be of more help.

If it has 14 tracks, then the rip is correct. So they left off about 4 joints i guess. It was put out on his own label so one can only speculate why he chose to not include those other beats. Could be that he was worried about the sound quality or loudness since the more songs you squeeze onto a record, the more dynamic range or whatever you lose, i think. Or, who knows?

I really wanted the inst for 'I Went for Mine', I love that track. It's similar to 'North Star' not being on the Cuban Linx insts I guess, although someone on youtube had the full instrumental, I wonder where he got it from. Then there's the CNN and Group Home instrumental releases, both lacking tracks and of a pretty bad sound quality, too.

The Wu Syndicate LP inst, every version I downloaded, was missing one of the best beats. Weird, it's even missing a track in the numbering, like who ripped it left it out on purpose.

they made it. It's a fan remake. They person who made it at the time used to post somewhere I did as well. It's an excellent remake but not official.

I had no idea, I suspected it for a second, but it sounded very good to not be real. Thanks bbatson, now I wonder if I can get a higher quality version of it.

Big Pun - Still Not A Player ft. Cuban Link (Demo)
Freestyle? Demo? Who knows...it includes the original sample though. "Capital Punishment" was released 14 years ago yesterday, so I thought I'd put this up for anyone who doesn't have it. Courtesy of DJ Soul. Thanks to dj2776 for the link.

thanks, will let this sit for a minute since people tend to overlook the "freestyles, demos" etc thread, then I'll merge it there.

A freestyle by Flavor Flav from Melle Mel's show on Hot 97 from around 1997, he kicks some crazy rhyme about Gonorrhea and putting shit in the toaster.

I posted a few more freestyles here today: http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/2012/05/ ... aig-g.html

I'm not positive, I have this too, and I think it came from Jaz. Not sure though. It could have been upped by the artist himself since I believe he's on FB posting stuff every once in a while.

It sounds similar to Stezo - Time ta Blow Ya Mind. But I think they are two different instrumentals.
