A1 Rated "R" (Radio)
A2 Rated "R" (Instrumental)
A3 Rated "R" (ft China)(Dirty)
B1 Tryin Ta Get Live
B2 Tryin Ta Get Live (Alternate Version)
B3 Tryin Ta Get Live (Alternate Instrumental)
B4 Tru 2 What We Do
The discogs entry is off a little bit unless there's a slightly different pressing. They have the B Side as only having 3 cuts but there's 4. B2 is actually a different beat and different vocals than B1. B3 is the instro for B2.
They also don't mention that A3 has some different lyrics plus a different guest emcee.
Big thanks to Digital Stimulation for the hook ups.

I don't believe a full rip was ever upped, only vocals. This is a re-up from our boy hspussy's blog:noventasflava wrote:The Bancheez - Start My Mission / Didn't I Tell Ya

Here`s a 12 inch that I wanted to share with y`all from N.W.A.`s MC Ren titled "Forget What Ya Heard". It was released by Ruthless Records back in 1994 & all 3 tracks were produced by Dr. Jam, while Mike Sims rocks the guitar on the first 2 joints. Apparently this 12 inch is actually a pretty rare find, luckily for me I was able to get a rip from the homie Jsta before his blog died. I found that the volume of the files however were a bit on the low side so I adjusted them & BuMP`d it up a bit...
A few lil` things to note about this single, on "Fuck What Ya Heard" there`s some gun shots that start a lil` after the beginning of the track which were omitted from the "Forget What Ya Heard" version. You can also clearly hear that both A1 & A2 were recorded during different sessions & years....LoL, on "Forget What Ya Heard" Ren spits "In `94 you know it`s on you can forget what ya heard, I`m droppin` plenty bombs like as if I was a bird"... While on "Fuck What Ya Heard" he spits "In `93 I`m wreckin` shit so you can fuck what ya heard, I`m droppin` plenty shit like a mother fuckin` bird"...
Aside from sightly changing up the lyrics for a radio version of a song things usually stay pretty close to the album version, that`s why I found it a lil` interesting that MC Ren would switch up the years in the lyrics from 1993 in the album version to 1994 on the edited version. Obviously the edited version was recorded later on.....LoL, but you can also notice if you listen close enough that on "Fuck What Ya Heard" MC Ren sounds as if he`s slightly closer to the mic than when he was when he recorded "Forget What Ya Heard". MC Ren get much props for re~working his lyrics on "Forget What Ya Heard" so you can still enjoy it without any annoying censorship, like the classic beeps or what have you....LoL, "Mayday On The Front Line" is slightly different than the version that appeared on the "CB4 Soundtrack", but it`s still DoPe. So go `head & check it out...

Best Stezo track ever, imo. Thanks for the better rip.

^I was just listening to these last night on yt cause someone has the 12" one on ebay. Not really loving the 12" but digging the beat for that one joint off the EP a lot, thanks! Handle My BIzness i think it is.
So what is this supposed to be an earlier Mr.Ruckuz? Rhyming or on the beats, or both?

Woord, yeah man, I bought both of mine from a Six2Six sale. Handle My Biznezz is such a dope song, I love it. I think it has to be an earlier Mr.Ruckuz because on these 2 records, its only Versatile Records as there company name and those are the only 2 releases. The Mr. Ruckuz record is on Madd Versatile Records and that's the only release from that company, so yeah its probably both. Dope stuff none the less. Wish I could get my hands on a Mr. Ruckuz record..Verge wrote:^I was just listening to these last night on yt cause someone has the 12" one on ebay. Paris's original sample of The Blackbyrds - Mysterious vibes in his song the days of old still holds off better years later than any industry regergitation.

^While i couldn't agree more with you, it has nothing to do with this thread. Welcome to T.R.O.Y. though.
Not sure if anyone has been following this CDS blog, they've been killin shit. Make sure to get the rips before they're gone:

Thanks for the link Verge, so many good blogs disappeared and it's good to hear of them while the links still work.Verge wrote:^While i couldn't agree more with you, it has nothing to do with this thread. Welcome to T.R.O.Y. though.
