Song ID

Post by KITFUNK »

Got this song stuck in my mind, can't remember who it's by.

All I remember is that it sounds like a Preem track and the hook is scratched I believe with the lyrics something close to this: "I murder nukkas, murder murder motha fuckas"

Pretty sure it's a Gang Starr track, but not positive. If anyone knows what song I'm talking about plz lmk!

Peace.

Does anyone know a RNB dance song from the 80s, partial chorus "move it on the left girl move it on the right girl--movin on, movin on."?

Does anyone know the break following Funky Penguin on Part 1 of Stretch and Bob's Red Bull set? About 37:45 in. Also, the track at 44:00?

I know the first one, but I just can't think what it is!

The second one is this: -

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dAB6BHTAdXI?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dAB6BHTAdXI?ve ... n_GB&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

As used by Stetsasonic in this: -

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7PcdwG_sVs0?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7PcdwG_sVs0?ve ... n_GB&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Can anyone tell me who uses the sample at the beginning of this clip? Some underground act from the mid nineties...I can't remember and it's driving me nuts.

sounds like it but i don't think it is. the stabs or whatever sound like in a higher key but they sound like they're played in the same melody. If that makes sense.

^Yeah I recently posted that in either the dope samples thread or the RIP IG Off thread. Spinna destroyed that beat/samples.
I think CF is looking for other songs that sampled it tho.

The intro drums and sample is Gangstarr's - Check The Technique. I also swore that Main Source used a part of that intro sample but I'm not sure now.

Peace Verge...if we are being nerdy about it haha then don't forget that Pete Rock used The Gerald Wilson Orchestra's cover of it for ADOR's classic "Let It All Hang Out"

Hah, that's what I was thinking of but couldn't remember. I was confusing it with "what You Need Is The Source" and confused myself, heh. Thanks!
