I realized through DJing that as you get the faster BPMs going on hip hop, the tracks just give off great energetic vibes so post some if ya got em, they're pretty rare and most of them golden age +100BPMs are fucking straight cash

not troy era but sounds it

can't find the others I'm thinking of on youtube... Smooth Ice - Pay Ya Tickets, Rob Base + EZ Rock - Chillin, plus some early 90s crew that had a track called 'Robocop', forgot the name

Probably many choices from the early 90's. I've smashed my speakers many times with this UK gem from the end of the decade though:

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sN12z5Oa2TA?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sN12z5Oa2TA?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

By the way, Beanz is putting out a new 12'' EP, "Pause To Discuss". Self-released i believe, so you know what to do if you're feeling it.

a lot of early nineties stuff

Big Daddy Kane - ooh ah
brand nubian - brand nubian

lords of the underground, zhigge pharcyde all had joints faster than 100bpm
i think even on the Main source album are one3 or two cuts slyghtly above 100bpm

My first thought was Jigga and Missy Elliot "Is That Yo Chick?" then "Gravel Pit" by The Wu.

Here's a good list I found over at serato.com forums, my favorite choices of theirs are Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - The Creator, Black And Proud - Intelligent Hoodlum, Heavy D - We Got Our Own Thang, Now That We Found Love and D12's - i'll shit on you

Damn I'm about to check these out. The main ingredient has some fast pace songs but I checked and none are over 100BPM. Some tracks are around 97~99 though
