this is amazing, many thanks to the peeps at the TROY Blog for posting this lost gem. "Sub Crazy" for example sounds better than on the actual album with heavier drums which made me wonder if some of these are the original versions of the beats before the flood in RZA's home studio destroyed all material for "Tical" which made them have to re-record the majority of the album extremely fast. because of this Meth has many times said that he think "Tical" wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. man i wonder how fucking dope that record would have been if it wasn't for that flood - i love the album as it is, but the mixing and production seems a little rushed when compared to the later Wu-Tang solos up to '97.
that unreleased beat in the middle are fire, definitely sounds like something RZA produced for the "Tical" album, it has that same vibe, really bugged out shit. there's no question that's a 1990s RZA beat for sure. i wonder how Meth would've sounded on this, or they could have used it as an interlude/outro beat or whatever - could anyone cut this up to like two 45 seconds trackS?
