So this is a clip from Exile's Stretch Marx tape...is this a series of Exile acapalles over an original beat, or what exatly? The lyrics show up as Blind Individuals which is supposedly on Dawn's Second Coming, but I can't find it on the tape when I listen to it. I came across this on youtube, also very dope:

okay old school heads and diggers...way back in the late '80's ('88 I think) there was a dope track an old friend from Washington DC had on tape from a US radio show and it was about the Redskins...all I remember was a dope beatbox and the MC kicking off with "The Redskins all they do is win and they prove it time and time again" or something similar...any clues?...I would love to hear this again.

Not saying definitely, just that it could possibly have just been a radio promo. They do that with local sports teams sometimes in the states, like i remember Mad Lion had a promo on Red Alert that was like Shoot To Kill but was about the Giants and the 49'ers or some shit.

I wanna say there was a track, I think by "Capitol Punishment Crew" from around '91 or so about the Redskins. I can't remember the name of it though. I think I have it but it would take some work to find.

ATCQ-Practice Session (Demo Mix) -- What's the deal?

Post by stems »

ATCQ-Practice Session (Demo Mix)

I was listening to this Radio Show --

http://www.beatsinspace.net/playlists/555

-- and the DJs closed their mix with a track I'd never heard of. It's labeled "Tribe Called Quest - Practice Session (Demo Mix)" and they credit it to Q-Tip, J. Dilla, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

What's the deal with this -- Unreleased material? White-label pressing? -- and where can I find it?

Who said the following line?

"and hope they pass me by like I'm The Pharcyde?"

I just can't remember who that was.

The Girls joint is one i really dig off that:

@stems: To embed-
Go to your profile here, scroll down and check the box to allow html.
On youtube, scroll down from the video and click the "share" button. You'll then see a button to open the embed code. After that you should see another check box to "use old embed code". Click that and it will show the embed code that you can copy and paste to here.

it sounds like it's from a mix and you can hear the end of another song at the beginning sounding like it's being blended into the Artifacts song. I think. Not sure what it is though.
