Nice, thanks for the info.

Hopefully there are folks out there somewhere who still have dubs of this.

Dope Shit indeed

It's from '95 from a show called "The Basement" with HB, DL and Chris Crossfader which was on Thursday nights in '94-'95 then moved to Sunday nights. It was a dope show and had many exclusives.

Thanks Jaz for posting this, and obviously Nes for putting this up on Dirty Waters.

To continue with the theme, here's a couple of Earthquake gems I separated from one of the Stretch & Bob shows.

Here's an unreleased treat from MF Doom and Earthquake called 'Checkmate.' This was done in 1994 when I guess Doom was making the transition from KMD to his solo work.

Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג€™ straw hat with a feather in it.

Tim Dog: ג€œWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iג€™m gonna do that shit in my video. Iג€™m gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatג€™s Tim Dog gonna wear?ג€

1999 promo CD for a Philly hip-hop crew I never heard of before. Found it on the $1 rack at a local record store. The title cut is decent.

Some more gems for that ass.

The first group of tracks came from a tape that originated with Blockhead and circulated throughout the country via tape traders back in the mid 90's.

The first joint I believe is an early Blockhead production from a crew called Den Of Thieves. It has a '92-'93 sound to it. The track is called "Game Of Death". Dope shit.

http://www.sharebeast.com/dzgdg2qippms

The next track is just ill as fuck, unfortunately it's not a full track, just a partial version of an incredible Lord Digga joint titled "Here I Come", which I consider to be my favorite Digga joint out there. If anyone has it in full, please share that shit.

http://www.sharebeast.com/aeia4gkqr9l1

The 3rd one I think is from a kid named Sandman, and I'm not sure what the real name of the track is but I have it down as "Know What I'm Sayin'". Not sure if this is a KCR demo or what, it's rare as far as I can tell.

http://www.sharebeast.com/89lgu6v41e82

This next one I don't have a track name for, and I'm not positive of the artist but I think it's Sazon The Lyrical Spice who appeared on this record.

http://www.discogs.com/WIZ-Featuring-Sa ... se/1383279

Again, I'm not sure if it's another Stretch & Bob exclusive or what.

http://www.sharebeast.com/pp7y8jn21lrj

Here's a joint I liberated from one of the WKCR tapes in Stretch & Bob thread. It's a demo from one of the demo battles, I'm pretty sure it's on one of the '93 tapes. I have it as Chaos but it could also be Kaos or some other variation. The track is titled "Turn It Up" and it's notable because it features Peter Paul from Ten Thieves/Mop Top, who I always thought were beyond dope and didn't release nearly enough material.

http://www.sharebeast.com/31absdv9s2g0

And last but certainly not least, comes this monster joint. I got a tape from a kid in D.C. in late '96/early '97 and at the end of the tape he had some shit recorded off the radio in D.C.

One of the joints was Honor Society - Breaking And Entering, and there was this one.

Oh boy, I don't even know what to say about this. I have no artist and no title, but I do have a suspicion that it's an early track from Mudd (of Jazz Addixx). Nothing concrete, just a hunch I have. The only issue with this joint is that it's not the greatest sounding. It fades out a bit in spots and it has an annoying voiceover saying "This Is A WPGC Exclusive" every now and then. This shit bangs hard though, no question. Anybody with any info on this, or even better a more complete rip. Please please please drop that shit in here.

http://www.sharebeast.com/fpisoq9u26ux

Props to Blockhead and that cat in D.C. whose name I can't remember for the life of me, and to aleph and Verge for the assistance with the rips.

Enjoy y'all. I will be back with more soon.
