I remember hearing and digging "I Am Myself" back when I went to school in Boston, but it was off some comp. I never realized they did an album. Apparently it dropped right around when I was up there too. Go figure, I guess. Thanks again.

I enjoy this album alot. Female Fun was my boy Peter's label, he was going to drop some projects from the crew until the distribution he had folded. Every release they had was dope.

any other beat snobs or incredibly cynical people that think most new hip hop sucks big donkey balls, the beats on this are really good. is any of the material on this new? i been following these guys since i noticed werner von wallenrod had an entry on them back in 2001.

Definitely some great stuff here, the songs with Akrobatik & Esoteric are quite enjoyable. It's a shame the album doesn't contain the remix to "I Am Myself", its easily the superior version, imo.
No more Sasso. Now everybody call me Ron!

New in 2004 when the album came out.

Cadence had a pretty good solo album a couple years ago also.

WORD. I think I own on Vinyl & CD just about everything they put out except for a few things like a couple of those "Japan Only" releases.

i know at least some of the stuff wasn't new in 2004 because i had been listening to some of the songs on this years prior to this release. i was wondering if this was a compilation of all their stuff they put out on vinyl before.

alright, i went back and looked through their catalog and it looks like a good chunk of this stuff is from the mid 90s and the rest is from their previous release - now and then - which appears to also be a compilation of their previous work with some new material sprinkled in. the intro/outro, grey skies, g is for guava, not available in stores, and s is for spinach seem to not appear on any other releases but not sure if they are new songs or stuff they had locked in the vaults from the 90s. they also have a compilation after this called Selling Celery To Get a Salary - Remixes, Demos and B-Sides which looks pretty interesting. also found out-yes, i have been living under a rock for the last ten years-that cadence did some stuff with dumi right from zimbabwe legit under the name of alternate reality last year and a bunch of solo stuff. so just added lots of stuff to 'to get to' queue.

also, my apologies for the ramble, here's something to make up for it.
just found the sandbox bonus cd of this album on my computer.

i got this when it came out, it was released as corporation between female fun and a german online store. they had some good connections to riflemen and such aswell.
the beats still are stellar but this is the type of stuff i can barely stomach anymore because of the raps. their voices and flows just sound awkward to me nowadays. pity there was no instrumental version released

agree with you there, i kinda eluded to that earlier. there's a fair amount of instrumentals since they got a nice amount of singles out. but some tracks are enjoyabled when cadence is rapping.

Great Jaz! This is a reference to me. You should also upload Cadence (of Raw Produce) solo works, "Poisons the minds of children" (from 2003, it includes a bonus CD) and "State lines" (from 2004)...trully underrated, what a shame...
